When it comes to Zooey Deschanel, a few things instantly come to mind. Deadpan comedy and the cult classic "(500) Days of Summer" are some key ones, but today, we're talking about Deschanel's signature hairstyle: her bangs. Some celebrities are all about switching their hairstyles with every new era and role, while others tend to stick to what works best for them — and Deschanel certainly falls in the latter camp. Over the more than two decades she's worked in the entertainment industry, she's almost exclusively rocked bangs, whether they were bulky bangs, straight-across ones, a wispy '90s fringe, or boho bottleneck bangs. Basically, she's sported some variety, but she's stayed in the same realm.
Will this theme continue through her wedding day? Deschanel and reality television star Jonathan Scott — best known as half of HGTV's "Property Brothers" — announced their engagement in August of 2023, and we can't help but wonder if Deschanel will rock bangs for the event. After all, she's known for them, but bangs are notoriously hard to manage. Well, it appears that Deschanel is up for the challenge, as she told People when asked about her wedding 'do, "Always bangs. Always."

Zooey Deschanel wearing bangs to her wedding falls directly in line with previous interviews she's done. "You could say that I'm hooked on bangs. Would I ever give them up? I have, and I might again — for a role, perhaps — but I really don't feel like myself without them," Deschanel told Glamour back in 2013. "When I first got into acting, I was a bit of a chameleon ... So I used my look to help create an identity. Now people know me as the girl with bangs." And over the past decade, not much has changed. She's remained a poster child for bangs, and we mean that as a sincere compliment.
