Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk, railed against the media for not being "proud" of her son's accomplishments, and leveled a conspiracy theory that all media outlets must lie about him or they'll lose their "funding."
Maye Musk appeared on the Pod Force One podcast on Monday, where host Lydia Moynihan asked, "How is it for you as a mother now to see your son who…was so celebrated, now become so controversial?"
"Well, you know, in my book, I do say 20 years ago, the media all hated Teslas," Musk said. "'It's going to fail, it's going to fail, it's going to fail.' And for five years, they hated Tesla. And then they realized that people are buying the Teslas. So then they started hating Elon and hating him on — and that's when I started going on Twitter and shaming the media, as well as the person doing the —"
"You would find the journalist!" Moynihan exclaimed.
"I would find the journalist and find their tag, and so that I could tag them and say, 'Shame on you!' And that's what I did. It gave me a lot of comfort. It didn't stop them," Musk said.

Following the passing of its legendary founder, Dollywood has revealed its plans for a permanent memorial to honor Dolly Parton,
Eugene Naughton, Dollywood Parks & Resorts President, shared the details in a press release on September 2.
"Many of us had extensive conversations with Dolly through the years about how she would want us to carry her vision forward," explained Naughton. "Dollywood will always be a place where families find fun, kindness, and joy — a place where they can make memories that last a lifetime, just like she would have wanted. We will carry her dreams forward by continuing to grow, welcoming even more guests, and sharing the warmth and hospitality of which she was so proud."
Additionally, Dollywood will construct new "experiences and installations that honor [Parton's] remarkable contributions, enduring values, and love for the people and places of the Great Smoky Mountains." The vision is to give guests "meaningful opportunities to reflect on Dolly's life, her faith, and her influence while experiencing the joy, imagination, and togetherness that have always been at the heart of her vision for Dollywood."
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce is launching "In Dolly's Footsteps," a walking tour in Tennessee featuring historic markers at places Dolly Parton and her family frequented during her childhood.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" guest host Jelly Roll scolded President Donald Trump for his fatphobic insults, then hit him where it hurts. (Watch the video below.)
On Monday's show, the performer, who has struggled with his own weight, urged the president to drop a few.
"Well, Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me, that physical fitness is very important," he said. "And trust me, you'll be happy to see your ***** again."
Jelly Roll riffed on a recent Washington Post article focusing on the president's reported weight gain while the singer noted he's lost more than 300 pounds over the last few years.
"That means I've lost an entire Donald Trump," he said to cheers. "And let's be honest, based on his approval rating, it seems like most of the country wants to do the same thing."

King Charles reportedly found out about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's UK move just days ago. The revelation comes as the Sussexes prepare to settle their family back in Britain. After six years in California, the couple is allegedly planning a private home in the country, with their children expected to attend school there. However, their relocation is not expected to change their position as non-working members of the Royal Family.
According to PEOPLE, King Charles was informed on August 16 about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plans to relocate their family to Britain. The couple is reportedly preparing to move with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Their children are expected to begin school in the UK next month.
The news understandably came as a surprise to many. Harry and Markle have spent the past six years living in California after stepping back from their roles as working royals in 2020. Now, they are set to establish a private, non-royal base in Britain.
However, the family is not reportedly giving up its life in the US entirely. The Sussexes are expected to keep their Montecito home. They are also understood to retain their property in Portugal. Still, details about their new UK residence and the children's school are being kept private.
Most importantly, the Sussexes themselves have yet to publicly confirm all the details surrounding the move. However, recent reports indicate that a spokesperson for the couple confirmed the relocation to the BBC.

The actor and comedian avoided taking the case to trial by appearing via video link in a Georgia court, and pleading guilty to one count of DUI driving less safe.
Haddish received a penalty of 12 months' probation and 24 hours in jail, which was expunged on the basis of time served. She must also complete 40 hours of community service. Her license is suspended in Georgia.

You've got actors, and then you have movie stars whose work makes us feel all the feels, transcends generations, and gets embedded into the cultural zeitgeist. Add in the dreaminess of Old Hollywood, and we couldn't be talking about anyone else but Audrey Hepburn. Still today, the Belgium-born actor is immediately recognizable courtesy of those big brown eyes, that sporty little pixie cut, and her sparkling, sophisticated charm. Hepburn started racking up credits in the early 1950s, scoring her breakout role in 1953's "Roman Holiday," which earned her a best actress Academy Award — and she'd keep working for nearly four decades. But her work isn't the only reason why she's such a legendary figure. There's also her fashion.
Beyond the work, Hepburn remains one of those pop culture style icons you should let influence your wardrobe. You could get lost for hours going through her old photographs, and notice that there's no shortage of iconic outfits in her wardrobe. Her best looks have withstood shifting trends no matter how much time has passed. No one would bat an eyelash if a stylish gal in the 2020s pulled on the checker print cigarette pants Hepburn wore in 1955 or the jewel-toned pink gown she wore to the 1992 Oscars.

In the 1950s, Audrey Hepburn posed for glamour shots — as she was known to do here and there — leaning against a tree and draped in a simply chic outfit that could work in any era. The "Funny Face" star was rocking a dark lip and her signature micro bangs, wearing a long-sleeved blouse that was wrapped and tied tight at the waist. She paired the top with a classic tea-length black shirt and popped on a pair of easy ballet flats that haven't gone anywhere in the decades since.

Deputies from the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office have been dispatched to the Miami home of Perez Hilton after the blogger appeared to self-harm during a disturbing livestream on Tuesday.
The Sheriff's Office told Entertainment Weekly that the video prompted multiple calls to local police, who then visited Hilton's home, spoke with family members who were on the scene, and confirmed that Hilton was alone inside. They have since "tactically disengaged" with Hilton, and continue to monitor the situation.
"In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication," the statement read.
"Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public," wrote Argemis "AC" Colome, an officer with the Public Affairs Office.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for Hilton for comment.

Ben Affleck has joined the list of celebrity winners of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
The Argo star took home the top prize with help from Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding.
Affleck conquered the $1 million question almost exactly one year after his Good Will Hunting co-star and best friend Matt Damon did the same. Damon was similarly paired with Jeopardy! wiz and current host Ken Jennings, who helped him reach the top prize for charity.
The money from Affleck and Ding's victory will go toward Affleck's Eastern Congo Initiative, which is dedicated to supporting the people living in the African region.
In the final question, Affleck and Ding had to guess which turkeys were not pardoned by a US president: Peanut ****** er & Jelly; Tater & Tot; Mac & Cheese; or Spaghetti & Meatball. The pair used their lifeline to ask host Jimmy Kimmel, who guessed the answer as Spaghetti & Meatball.
"I would bet on Jimmy," Affleck agreed. "I would go for it."
