Ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals' season opener on Sunday, Sept. 13, Paycor Stadium introduced a slate of new food and beverage options, including a seafood tower, Mazunte walking tacos, a double smash cheeseburger and oversized ice cream sundaes.
Christopher Revercomb, senior executive chef for Aramark Sports + Entertainment, which oversees food service at Paycor Stadium, said the goal is to balance traditional game-day favorites with upscale offerings. The menu is shaped by fan feedback, sales data and emerging food trends.

(NewsNation) — Rising costs continue to squeeze American households, with prices climbing across groceries, gas and health insurance.
Beef prices have jumped for numerous reasons, including a shrinking U.S. cattle herd, drought, consumer demand, and inflation. Ground beef prices are nearing $7 per pound, up $0.63 since July 2025, and sirloin steaks have jumped to nearly $15 per pound, up $1.04 since July 2025.
Food prices in July 2026 were 3% higher than in July 2025, per the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service.
The ongoing war in Iran has led to rising gas prices, with the national average currently at about $4.14, nearly a dollar higher than it was just a year ago, according to AAA.

Public perception often **** ociates high-profile investors with speculative **** ets like gold, real estate, or cryptocurrency. As a fan of the 24/7 horse racing TV channel from FanDuel, I have seen Tom Selleck, Henry Winkler, and even J.J. "Dynomite" Walker using their name recognition to hawk products from gold to reverse mortgages.
But this one is different. Because a certain U.S. president with a history of finding opportunity in everything from buildings to steaks, and more recently, crypto, has apparently been linked to active trading in the Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF (VIG).

Game #132… ..it is getting serious. And the Jays are half a game out of a Wild Card spot.
Once again, we have an early game. And I have tennis til then so getting the Game Thread together early. They don't have the lineups posted yet. Or told us what the roster move of the day is. I'm going to post this early, so you can make note of any news in the thread.
Yesterday's game should have been a blowout, but at least it was a win. A win is always a good thing. And it was nice to see pretty much everyone in the line get some hits, have good at bats.
Here is a nice short interview with Andrés Giménez (even if the questions were silly).
We had a nice evening last night, 18 people. No one complained (to my face) about the steaks (who complains about a steak?). I think I hit the 'medium rare' point on all of them. It is weird to have the entire grill of the barbecue filled steaks, usually, I'm sure doing them for me and my family.

For millions of Americans, the weekly grocery trip has become an exercise in sticker shock.
Beef prices have climbed sharply in recent years, forcing many families to swap steaks for cheaper cuts, or abandon beef altogether. Now Rep. Thomas Massie, R-KY., says one of the bills he's spent the most time championing could help bring those prices back down.
"Groceries are too high!" Massie wrote on X (1) on Aug. 4, responding to right-wing commentator Matt Walsh. "The bill I've spent the most effort on since I've been in office is the PRIME Act… to lower beef & pork prices while giving farmers more opportunity."
Jeff Bezos backs a platform that lets anyone invest in rental homes for as little as $100 — 6 ways to build wealth like a landlord without actually being one

CANTON − Football lovers were hungry and fanatical as Sugardale Fan Fest kicked off at Stadium Park on Aug. 5 during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival.
Outrageously attired NFL fans represented their favorite teams. Cheerleaders for the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers were on hand, both squads in town for the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 6 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. And foodies were in heaven at the new ticketed USA Today Great American Tailgate event.
The Great American Tailgate features 32 food samples representing each of the 32 NFL franchises. Cheesesteaks, street corn, burgers, hot dogs, barbecue pork and mac and cheese were among the tempting eats, often jazzed up beyond the traditional version.
Mark Heise, 60, of Venice, Florida, came to Canton both for the Great American Tailgate and to see Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame at a ceremony Aug. 8.
His son, Austin Heise, 34, of Venice, Florida, said Fitzgerald is elite.

Despite his claims of being the greatest featherweight in history, Conor McGregor failed to register a single ****** le defense because he couldn’t handle the “nasty” cut to featherweight. In fact, “Notorious” was so “unhappy” he abruptly jumped to lightweight, where he got swole on steaks and captured a second championship ****** le — while mixing in a few “jacked” appearances at welterweight.
Sounds like 170 pounds will be his new home for the foreseeable future.
“You’re going to have to do something really big to get Conor at 155 again,” Coach John Kavanagh told mixedmartialarts.com (via MMA Fighting). “170 is a comfortable cut for him now and he’s got the frame for it. He certainly has the strength for it. He’s always had an unusual — he’s got that orangutan reach, so he’s comfortable at that. He can tie his shoelaces without bending down, you know?”
I guess that means he can also snort lines without bending down.
McGregor, who turns 38 in just a few days, plans to rack up another 100 fights before retiring, which is why your keyboard has an eye-rolling emoji. At the very least, we can expect “Notorious” to compete one more time inside the Octagon, which will satisfy the remaining fight on his current UFC contract.

On July 3, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at New York City's Madison Square Garden in front of at least 1,000 guests, including family and famous friends. Although phones were not allowed inside the star-studded event, small details have begun to leak as celebrities opened up about the fairytale wedding. One hot topic of conversation among many fans was what food the couple served at the reception.
While some fans wanted to know who performed at Swift and Kelce's wedding, others were wondering what they ate! One source told PEOPLE magazine that Taylor's mother invited guests into the reception room after the ceremony, where a stage was set up so artists like Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks could perform.
The insider revealed that there were food stations loaded with Italian cuisine, sushi, and trays being passed around. They also revealed that "there were bars everywhere," says the source, and, despite the venue's size, noted, "It was very crowded!"
Actor Bradley Cooper attended the wedding with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, who is a longtime friend of Swift. A truck from Cooper's restaurant, Danny and Coop's, arrived at Madison Square Garden just before 10 PM, according to Us Weekly.
Cooper, along with famed restaurateur Danny DiGiampietro, founded Danny and Coop's, which specializes in Philly cheesesteaks, as a pop-up food truck in 2023. They opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in New York two years later.

The Great American Tailgate Promotion is underway, and Eagles fans finally get the chance to prove what Philadelphia has known for generations: Philly cheesesteaks are the undisputed champions of East Coast tailgating.
USA TODAY and the Pro Football Hall of Fame are teaming up for a nationwide celebration of the foods that define football culture across all 32 NFL cities — and the Philly faithful are officially on the clock.
This summer, fans nationwide will vote in a bracket-style tournament to determine America's Favorite Tailgating Food. Each team enters with one signature dish, and for the Eagles, nothing represents the region better than a cheesesteak — thin-sliced beef, melted cheese, and a perfect roll that defines the city's food identity. It's iconic, beloved, unmistakably Philly, and the dish that fuels game days from the Linc to neighborhoods across the region.
Every vote you cast helps Philadelphia advance through the bracket and also enters you into a giveaway for a $1,000 Pro Football Hall of Fame merchandise gift card. One lucky fan will walk away with the chance to stock up on Hall of Fame apparel, collectibles, and memorabilia.
This contest is part of a larger national event in Canton celebrating the food culture of all 32 NFL cities. It's a showcase of regional pride, fan passion, and the traditions that make tailgating one of America's greatest rituals.

We can't afford to let family dinner fall through the cracks. Omaha Steaks hasbeen helping families keep that tradition and foundation strong for a very long time," said Costner.
