Pfizer paid $9.8B in dividends in 2025 while earning only $7.7B in net income, marking the third straight year its payout exceeded its profit.
Icahn Enterprises yields near 30% but lost money every year from 2021 to 2025 and has already slashed its quarterly payout from $2.00 to $0.50.
Dow halved its dividend yet still failed to cover it from operating cash in 2025, posting a $2.6B net loss the same year.

Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) paid $9.771 billion in dividends in 2025 and earned net income of $7.746 billion. That was the third straight year the payout ran ahead of profit. When this repeats year after year, it is company policy. A high yield lasts only as long as the cash behind it does.

JetBlue Airways (JBLU) is heading into a more significant phase of its comeback without one of the activist investors who helped alter its board.
Carl Icahn sharply cut his JetBlue position, selling roughly 8.13 million shares for about $40.4 million between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20, regulatory filings show. The transactions reduced the Icahn Group's interest to around 3.32%, or about 12.5 million shares, from over 10% when the activist investor initially revealed his position in 2024.
That's more than some spring cleaning.
Icahn's smaller stake fell below the amount needed to retain board presence at JetBlue. Jesse Lynn and Steven Miller, directors supported by Icahn, resigned both effective Aug. 24 after the group's ownership fell below the appropriate level, the airline said in an Aug. 27 filing with the SEC.
It is interesting timing for investors. JetBlue is aiming to show that its JetForward turnaround will restore sustainable profitability after years of strategic missteps, excessive expenses, and a failed attempt to combine with Spirit Airlines.

Noah Lyles ran a world-leading 9.79 seconds as he claimed an impressive victory in the 100m at the US athletics championships.
He also equalled his personal best, which he set in winning gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, with the run at the Icahn Stadium in New York City.
The previous best 100m in 2026 was the 9.82 set by Jamaica's Oblique Seville in June.
"I think I made that 'I'm still the world's fastest man' statement," said Lyles.
The 29-year-old American finished ahead of Ronnie Baker in second and third-placed Kenny Bednarek, who were both given a time of 9.88s, while former world champion Christian Coleman was fourth in 9.93.

Jacksonville's Garrett Scantling captured the decathlon at the USA Track & Field Toyota Outdoor Championships, returning to the top of the grueling 10-event test of all-around athletic prowess for the first time in four years.
Scantling, a graduate of Episcopal High School (now Episcopal School of Jacksonville), recorded 8,526 total points over two days of competition at Icahn Stadium in New York.
He finished 95 clear of runner-up Kyle Garland, the world bronze medalist in 2025. Hakim McMorris came in third, 214 behind Scantling.
Consistency made the difference for Scantling, who placed sixth or higher in the first nine events, including first-place finishes in the long jump, shot put, 110-meter hurdles and javelin throw. Despite losing some ground in the final laps of the deciding 1,500-meter run, traditionally his weakest event, Scantling still found enough in the tank to run a ninth-place 4:43.78 and preserve his overall position atop the standings.
The July 24 triumph for Scantling, now 33, marks a milestone in his comeback to the sport.

NEW YORK (AP) — Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles cruised through their first-round races of the 100 meters on Thursday at the U.S. track championships.
Richardson had the top time of 10.90 seconds in the women's race. That was despite taking an extra moment in the starting block to make sure she didn't false start and shutting it down early to conserve energy. Richardson is a big favorite to win with reigning 100-meter world champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden skipping the event to focus on the 200.
The semifinals and final will be held Friday at Icahn Stadium.
Lyles, the reigning Olympic champion, started slow — just like Richardson — but quickly powered up to full speed. He finished in 9.97 seconds to edge Ronnie Baker in the second heat. The top time was turned in by Christian Coleman, who went 9.96 in the first heat. Kenny Bednarek, a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the 200, won his heat as well.
Bednarek and Lyles were involved in a shoving and shouting match at U.S. championships last summer as they crossed the finish line of a hotly contested 200-meter final at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Kenneth Rooks and Lexy Halladay, two former BYU athletes, will attempt to defend their national ******* les at this week’s USA national track and field championships in New York City.
Rooks, the 2024 Olympic silver medalist in the steeplechase, is seeking his fourth consecutive national ******* le. Halladay, another steeplechaser, will attempt to win her second championship.
The meet will run from July 23-26 at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island in New York City.
Rooks has struggled to regain his form this year, but that might be a good sign. He had three consecutive forgettable races against international competition leading up to the 2025 U.S. championships and pulled it together to win another national ******* le. In three races against elite fields this year, it has been much the same — Rooks has finished sixth, 18th and seventh, respectively, and his best time is 8:28.54 — well short of the 8:06.41 he produced in the Olympic final.
Coach Ed Eyestone noted that Rooks “had been feeling off” in May and June, “but he had a great 2K time trial (in early July) … so I think he is rounding into shape at the right time.”

We just covered From Fired Researcher to $13.7 Billion King: How Leopold Aschenbrenner Broke the Hedge Fund World and Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:BE) ranks 6th on this list.
Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:BE) is the largest bull position in the 13F portfolio of Situational Awareness LP. In filings for the first quarter of 2026, the fund revealed it owned close to 6.5 million shares in the company, down close to 35% compared to filings for the fourth quarter of 2025. This bet is an excellent case study into the investing acumen of Leopold Aschenbrenner. Over the past six months, the share price of the firm has jumped close to 170% and Aschenbrenner has capitalized handsomely on this gain. The core thesis remains the same. Data center operators can buy all the GPUs they want, but standard utility grids cannot supply electricity fast enough to power them. The solid-oxide fuel cells of Bloom bypass the grid entirely by providing immediate, off-grid, on-site baseload power using natural gas or hydrogen.
In the Q1 2026 earnings report, Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:BE) reported record-breaking revenue of $751.1 million, up 130.4% year-over-year from $326 million in Q1 2025. This obliterated Wall Street consensus estimates, which expected a modest $531 million to $552 million. The top-line acceleration was driven by the Product segment, which surged 208.4% to $653.3 million, accounting for 87% of total corporate revenue. The crown jewel of this validation is the selection of Bloom as the exclusive power provider for the Project Jupiter AI data center cluster. Bloom is contracted to provide up to 2.45 gigawatts of continuous, on-site power to the site. To put this into context, 2.45 GW is enough electricity to power roughly 1.8 million homes, or roughly 2.5 times the total power capacity of all data centers built in Northern Virginia.
While we acknowledge the potential of BE as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.

We just covered From Fired Researcher to $13.7 Billion King: How Leopold Aschenbrenner Broke the Hedge Fund World and Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) ranks 4th on this list.
Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) is a new addition to the 13F portfolio of Situational Awareness LP. The fund declared a new stake in the company in filings for the first quarter of 2026. This stake consists of PUT bets worth close to 3 million shares. Previously, Leopold Aschenbrenner had bought a stake in this chip giant in the third quarter of 2025. This position consisted of PUT bets worth 230,000 shares and was sold off completely by the next quarter. In addition to Leopold Aschenbrenner, other elite money managers with bearish bets on Broadcom include Ken Griffin, Israel Englander, Sander Gerber, Matthew Hulsizer, and D.E. Shaw. The bet against Broadcom aligns with a broader bet against semis that is a central theme of the latest 13F filings by Leopold Aschenbrenner.
Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) does not sell general-purpose GPUs like NVIDIA. The AI growth of the firm is driven by designing custom AI accelerators and high-speed Ethernet networking for cloud giants. This business relies heavily on a concentrated base of six major hyperscaler customers, including Alphabet, Meta, and OpenAI, for AI revenues. Even though the AI-specific backlog sits at $73 billion, pushing AI-related revenue up to 44% of the total sales mix, short-sellers have pointed out that cloud customers are using Broadcom as a stepping stone while they build out internal engineering teams to design their own proprietary custom silicon.
While we acknowledge the potential of AVGO as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.

We just covered From Fired Researcher to $13.7 Billion King: How Leopold Aschenbrenner Broke the Hedge Fund World and NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) ranks 2nd on this list.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is a new addition to the 13F portfolio of Situational Awareness LP. The fund declared a new stake in the company in filings for the first quarter of 2026. This stake consists of PUT bets worth close to 9 million shares. Previously, Leopold Aschenbrenner had bought a stake in this chip giant in the third quarter of 2025. This position consisted of PUT bets worth 1.6 million shares and was sold off completely by the next quarter. Back then, this bearish bet represented over 7% of the 13F portfolio of the fund. The latest one is the second-largest position and represents over 11% of the portfolio. Leopold Aschenbrenner is not the only hedge fund manager betting against the chip giant.
Prominent names like Michael Burry, Ken Griffin, Israel Englander, and Sander Gerber also hold PUT options on NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), per latest filings. There is concern among some in the hedge fund universe that as AI shifts from training models to running autonomous agents, the required hardware changes. Complex sequential logic execution favors high-performance CPUs. While NVIDIA commands an estimated 90% to 95% market share in AI training GPUs, it has virtually no market share in the traditional x86 enterprise data center CPU market, which is dominated by AMD and Intel. Bearish investors are betting that NVIDIA GPU demand will face a structural ceiling as compute requirements diversify.
While we acknowledge the potential of NVDA as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.

We just covered From Fired Researcher to $13.7 Billion King: How Leopold Aschenbrenner Broke the Hedge Fund World and VanEck Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SMH) ranks 1st on this list.
VanEck Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SMH) is a new addition to the 13F portfolio of Situational Awareness LP. The fund declared a new stake in the company in filings for the first quarter of 2026. This stake consists of PUT bets worth over 5.3 million shares. Previously, Leopold Aschenbrenner had bought a stake in this ETF back in the second quarter of 2025. This position consisted of more than 2 million shares and was sold off by the next quarter. The bearish bet against the chip sector represents close to 15% of the 13F portfolio of the hedge fund run by AI expert Leopold Aschenbrenner. This is not an isolated bet but part of a larger close to $8 billion position against the chip sector that comprises over 60% of 13F portfolio of the fund.
This massive bet against VanEck Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SMH) represents a continuation of an investment strategy championed by Leopold Aschenbrenner that focuses on companies providing the picks and shovels for this AI revolution. In layman terms, instead of betting on the gold itself, like AI software or chip firms, Aschenbrenner is betting on the companies that provide the picks and shovels for gold digging, like power companies and repositioned Bitcoin miners providing AI compute. In his June 2024 essay ***** led SITUATIONAL AWARENESS: The Decade Ahead, Aschenbrenner had predicted that, “As AI revenue grows rapidly, many trillions of dollars will go into GPU, datacenter, and power buildout before the end of the decade. The industrial mobilization, including growing US electricity production by 10s of percent, will be intense”.
While we acknowledge the potential of SMH as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.

We just covered the From Fired Researcher to $13.7 Billion King: How Leopold Aschenbrenner Broke the Hedge Fund World and Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:BW) ranks 25th on this list.
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:BW) first appeared in the 13F portfolio of Situational Awareness LP in the fourth quarter of 2025. Back then, this stake comprised a little over 1.3 million shares. Filings for the first quarter of 2026 show that the fund has made no changes to this stake. The company provides energy and emissions control solutions to industrial, electrical utility, municipal, and other customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Leopold Aschenbrenner is bullish on the stock. Under the hood, the firm is pivoting from a legacy industrial boiler company into a high-margin, grid-infrastructure, and clean-energy powerhouse directly capturing the AI data center boom.
Bulls emphasize that the macro tailwinds for utility and industrial power generation are converting directly into rapid top-line scaling for Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:BW), far exceeding Wall Street projections. Total revenue for Q1 2026 reached $214.4 million, jumping 44% year-over-year compared to $148.6 million in Q1 2025. The $214.4 million performance blew past the average consensus ******* yst forecast of $157.2 million by more than 36%. This beat was driven by high project volumes, including their Base Electron project, and accelerating global utility demand to feed power-hungry AI workloads. The Adjusted EBITDA for Q1 2026 surged to $16.1 million, a 296% increase from the $4 million reported in Q1 2025.
While we acknowledge the potential of BW as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. We just covered the 12 Best Stocks to Invest In According to Jim Simons’ Renaissance Technologies and Roblox Corporation (NYSE:RBLX) ranks 12th on this list.
Roblox Corporation (NYSE:RBLX) has featured in the 13F portfolio of Renaissance Technologies since the second quarter of 2021. Back then, this position comprised 754,000 shares and was sold off by the next quarter. A new position was then disclosed in the fourth quarter of 2021, comprising 5.4 million shares. Since then, the stock has been a mainstay in the portfolio of the fund. By mid-2022, the fund had grown this stake to 11.5 million shares. Thereafter, it trimmed the holding, bringing it down to around 4.3 million shares by the middle of 2024. Filings for the first quarter of 2026 show that the fund owned 7.1 million shares in the firm, up over 7% compared to filings for the previous quarter.
Roblox Corporation (NYSE:RBLX) operates an immersive platform for connection and communication in the United States and internationally. The stock has suffered in recent weeks after management slashed full-year 2026 bookings guidance down to a range of $7.33 billion–$7.6 billion, from an initial $8.28 billion–$8.55 billion forecast, citing short-term friction from newly implemented child-safety and age-verification protocols. However, elite investors are looking past this to examine the raw infrastructure metrics. In Q1 2026, Daily Active Users surged 35% year-over-year to 132 million, proving that the core network of the platform remains incredibly strong. Q1 2026 bookings actually grew 43% year-over-year, and the company posted $1.4 billion in Q1 revenue, beating baseline structural expectations.
While we acknowledge the potential of RBLX as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.
