Crystal Palace have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on loan without an option to buy, according to Fabrice Hawkins.
The Eagles desperately needed reinforcement at the back following the sale of Maxence Lacroix to the Blues. He was a priority target.
Palace have now turned to the Frenchman to anchor the defence alongside Chris Richards and Jaydee Canvot. Talks are ongoing with the player and his representatives.
A dry loan also gives the South London club the flexibility to sign Raphael Le Guen, a young defender they have been chasing for weeks.
Disasi could be Palace's sixth summer signing after Dwight McNeil, Anan Khalaili, Zavier Gozo, Oscar Mingueza, and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

One trusted French journalist has hinted that Liverpool could be close to striking an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Bradley Barcola.
Personal terms have already been agreed with the 23-year-old, who's been frozen out of the PSG squad along with fellow Reds-linked winger Ibrahim Mbaye until their respective futures are resolved.
The two clubs have yet to agree on a price for the France international, with some outlets claiming that the European champions are holding out for as much as £145m, but one respected source believes that the Merseysiders could strike a deal for significantly less than that.
Fabrice Hawkins has indicated that Liverpool's 'next written offer' for Barcola could be accepted by PSG, with the reporter expecting the eventual price to be in the range of £111m to £128m.
He told RMC Sport's After Foot podcast (via Anfield Sector): "Bradley Barcola wants to join Liverpool. PSG were informed earlier of his desire and it was accepted. There's no intention to keep Bradley Barcola. The sticking point has been the valuation, where they started at €170m.

Aston Villa are now in talks for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki at €35m including add-ons, after PSG pulled out in protest at additional commission, so Juventus regain Emiliano Martinez hope.
The situation on the goalkeeper front has suddenly been turned completely on its head with one huge development this afternoon.

Just as Paris Saint-Germain were scheduling the medical tests for Suzuki, transfer pundit Fabrice Hawkins revealed that the player's agents demanded extra commission that hadn't been part of the agreement.
This infuriated the Champions League winners, who walked away and pledged not to go back on their position as a matter of principle.

According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins, Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Parma for the goalkeeper Zion Suzuki (23). PSG are expected to pay around €35m to sign the ****** anese international, who will sign a five-year contract.
His arrival casts some aspersions on the future of Lucas Chevalier (24) in France's capital city. The France international joined PSG from Lille OSC last summer to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma, but poor form meant that he eventually lost the starting spot to Matvey Safonov, as well as his place in the France national team as the third-choice keeper.
The good news for Chevalier is that Suzuki is not expected to play a part in PSG's squad in the upcoming season, with Les Parisiens aiming to loan him out. Juventus are reported to be one of the landing spots for Suzuki, although Hawkins writes they're not the only possibility.

Milan have agreed the straight loan of Zachary Athekame to Olympique Lyonnais, claim French reports, with no option to make it permanent.
There had already been suggestions today in the Italian media that Athekame was one of the players to be cut from the squad after a disappointing pre-season with new coach Ruben Amorim.

Just hours later, French transfer pundit Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport revealed that Lyon had agreed terms for a dry loan, meaning there is no option to buy at the end of the season.
The Ligue 1 side will cover his full salary during the campaign, but he will then return to San Siro in the summer of 2027.

In a recent post on X, RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins revealed that Liverpool are pushing to land Paris Saint-Germain talent Ibrahim Mbaye this summer. It has been mentioned that the Reds are eyeing a move to bring the Senegalese wide player to Merseyside this off-season.
Mbaye came through the youth ranks of PSG and did well to break into their first team last season. The Senegalese talent found the back of the net three times and secured a couple of ****** ists in 24 league matches for the French outfit in the previous campaign across all fronts.
The 18-year-old is currently one of the most gifted young wingers in Ligue 1. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Reds have set their sights on signing him in this transfer period.
His current contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Liverpool to land him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Crystal Palace have submitted a loan offer with an obligation to buy for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, according to Fabrice Hawkins. Xabi Alonso and Pierre Sage are at Stamford Bridge and Selhurst Park with the Blues and the Eagles respectively.
The 28-year-old centre-back remains Palace's top target to replace Maxence Lacroix as negotiations between the two London clubs continue.
With Lacroix recently completing his move to Stamford Bridge, Palace have earmarked Disasi as the ideal successor to maintain defensive stability at Selhurst Park.
The French 'machine' brings extensive experience across the Premier League, Ligue 1, and European competition, offering physical presence, aerial dominance, and composure on the ball to anchor Pierre Sage's defensive unit.
While Chelsea initially preferred an immediate permanent transfer, Palace's structured offer guarantees the Blues a permanent sale fee, providing a workable compromise that aligns with both clubs' financial planning.

Liverpool have been linked with a prospective move for teenage Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
In late July, Graeme Bailey reported for TEAMtalk that the 18-year-old has been offered to the Reds, with a 'growing belief within the player's entourage' that an exit from the Parc des Princes 'would be the best decision for his long-term development'.
On Tuesday night, Fabrice Hawkins revealed (as later corroborated by Fabrizio Romano) that the Merseysiders are now 'pushing' to sign the youngster, who's believed to be 'keen' on a potential move to Anfield.
If Liverpool are to swoop for Mbaye, they'll be hoping to win big from that transfer, and you can win big from high-quality slot games with gamblerina.
Unlike his PSG teammate and fellow Reds target Bradley Barcola, the 18-year-old is primarily a right winger, a position where Iraola's squad is in need of reinforcement in the final month of the transfer window.

Fabrice Hawkins reports on X (formerly Twitter) that the Reds are looking to complete deals for both the 18-year-old and teammate Bradley Barcola in the same transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano likewise confirmed on the platform on Tuesday evening that the teenager is prioritising the Merseysiders' project under new boss Andoni Iraola.
What a turn of events for Liverpool's recruitment team, which could now oversee deals for an elite operator in the France international and a naturally right-sided winger in Mbaye.

Crystal Palace are set to submit an offer for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, according to Fabrice Hawkins. Palace manager Pierre Sage wants to replace Maxence Lacroix at the Selhurst Park club, and Disasi has emerged as the Eagles' priority target. The 28-year-old spent the second half of last term on loan at West Ham United, making 17 appearances. However, Disasi was unable to help keep the Hammers up and a permanent deal to move to the London Stadium club was chalked off the cards.
The Frenchman remains surplus to requirements at Chelsea, but Palace are keen on recruiting his services. They are preparing an official bid and talks are ongoing between both clubs over a deal. However, clubs in Serie A are also looking to bring him to Italy and are monitoring the situation. Disasi is not short of suitors and more clubs could join the Eagles and others in his pursuit.
However, a move to Selhurst Park could appeal to him as it will keep him in London. Palace are also playing in the Europa League next season after winning last term's Conference League.

The future of Yan Diomande is currently the biggest talking point in European football.
The RB Leipzig winger is widely expected to join Real Madrid heading into the new season, but the two clubs are yet to reach a final agreement.
Diomande's supposed move to Santiago Bernabeu was a major defeat to PSG, who were in pole position to sign the Ivorian earlier in the year.
Transfer expert Fabrice Hawkins has now offered an update on the Diomande saga, adding that PSG no longer consider a move for the Leipzig forward.

Highly sought after RB Leipzig and Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande has chosen Paris Saint-Germain as his preferred next step, according to Sky Germany.
According to the report, relationships between PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and RB Leipzig Supervisory Board Chairman Oliver Mintzlaff are positive – further adding that the two are in direct contact regarding a potential transfer.
Sky cite Fabrice Hawkins that Diomande has already agreed a contract until 2031 with the Paris club. “PSG is a club that I have loved since my childhood. It is a team that I admire as a football fan,” Diamonde told French media.
Leipzig wanted to keep Diomande unless a high transfer fee was put forward, with the German club having recently rejected a €100m offer from Liverpool.
Diomande is an exciting player who has managed to grab attention at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. After an impressive debut season at Leipzig in which he managed to score 12 goals and provide eight ***** ists in 32 league goals, his impressive display has clubs enquiring about him with PSG seemingly winning the race.

Liverpool’s pursuit of Yan Diomande appears to have reached a significant crossroads, with Paris Saint-Germain increasingly confident of securing the highly rated winger while the Reds **** s alternative attacking options for the remainder of the summer transfer window.
Reports over recent days have indicated that the French champions are in a strong position to land the 19-year-old, who is understood to favour a move to the Parc des Princes. While Liverpool had made serious progress in discussions over personal terms, the transfer has become increasingly complicated after RB Leipzig rejected two substantial offers.
According to Ben Jacobs, Liverpool saw a second proposal worth €80 million plus €20 million in add-ons turned down by the Bundesliga club. Leipzig remain determined to retain one of Europe’s brightest young attacking talents and are reportedly valuing Diomande at around €130 million.
Writing on X, Jacobs explained: “Yan Diomande favours a move to PSG, as Fabrice Hawkins and David Ornstein called.”
He added: “Liverpool are currently inclined to explore other targets after seeing an €80m+€20m bid rejected. That was Liverpool’s second offer. LFC had made their own progress on the player side, and haven’t to date been directly told Diomande doesn’t want to join. However, sources close to Diomande say the Ivorian winger wants to play under Luis Enrique.”
