While Trump publicly praised Charles as the "greatest king" to the press, away from the cameras, it seems he had even more to say – but what?
During the visit, he met royal author Robert Hardman in the Oval Office to discuss his new biography about the late Queen, Elizabeth II.
Writing in the Daily Mail, Hardman said the President asked after the Prince and Princess of Wales, saying about William: "William, he'll be a good King, won't he? He's very nice. A great guy. I like him."

The Buffalo Bills have released former Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Zion Logue ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Buffalo released Logue ahead of the roster cut deadline. Logue recorded a pair of tackles and no sacks this preseason.
This offseason, Buffalo signed Logue to a reserves/futures contract. Logue is a candidate to land on the Bills' practice squad.
Last season, Logue appeared in three games with the Bills. He posted 1/2 sack, two tackles and a pass defended.

The Bills announced their first wave of cuts on Saturday afternoon.
The list includes the previous reported release of wide receiver Mecole Hardman, but not the release of punter Mitch Wishnowsky. The Bills have reportedly decided to go with rookie Tommy Doman over Wishnowsky.
Buffalo is also parting ways with linebacker Cade Denhoff, cornerback Jordan Dunbar, guard Bruno Fina, linebacker Theron Gaines, center Sincere Haynesworth, defensive lineman Zion Logue, cornerback D.J. Miller, safety Wande Owens, wide receiver Dante Pettis, linebacker Otis Reese, wide receiver Quentin Skinner, and tight end Shane Zylstra.

MOOSIC, PA(WBRE/WYOU)-- The Charlotte Knights score twice in the first, third, and fourth innings to take an early lead and not look back. The RailRiders 7-2 loss to Charlotte is the teams sixth loss in the team's last seven games. The loss drops SWB to 25-19 for the second half of the season. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre now sits 2.5 games out of first place.
The RailRiders evened the game at two runs a piece in the second inning. Tyler Hardman and Kenedy Corona each driving in a run. Those were the only runs though for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.

Hardman Johnston Global Advisors, an investment management firm, issued its investor letter for the Hardman Johnston Large Cap Equity Strategy for the first quarter of 2026. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The strategy achieved a return of 0.68% (gross) and 0.57% (net) during this period, in contrast to a -4.33% return for the S&P 500 Total Return Index. Companies with robust backlogs of customer business were rewarded, while those with more economically sensitive clients faced underperformance. LONDON/SINGAPORE, June 30 (Reuters) - The steadily climbing dollar pushed the yen down to levels not seen since 1986 on Tuesday, stoking worries that direct intervention from Tokyo was near, if perhaps not immediate, and also putting the euro under pressure.
The greenback climbed to as high as 162.41 yen for the first time in 40 years on Tuesday and was last at 162.15, up slightly on the day. ******* anese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama reiterated that authorities stood ready to respond appropriately at any time, but refrained from stronger rhetoric.
"The dollar is the main story at the moment and dollar/yen the key focus within that," said Lee Hardman, senior currency ******* yst at MUFG.
"The market has moved to price in a higher chance of the Federal Reserve hiking rates, and while our view is ultimately the Fed can look through this inflation pick up there isn't an immediate trigger for that unless we get softer data or Fed officials dial back the rhetoric."
