The Baltimore Ravens are preparing for an Indianapolis Colts roster that underwent meaningful changes on both sides of the ball. Indianapolis retained Daniel Jones as its starting quarterback and added veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen to a passing game featuring Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, and Tyler Warren. Allen gives Jones an experienced route runner who can create separation on third down and in the red zone. The Colts also reshaped portions of their offensive line. Tanor Bortolini is listed as the starting center, with Matt Goncalves at right guard and Jalen Travis at right tackle. Quenton Nelson and Bernhard Raimann provide continuity on the left side, but Baltimore can test the newer combinations with its rebuilt defensive front.
Indianapolis made its most significant defensive investment in the secondary. Sauce Gardner joins Charvarius Ward at cornerback, giving the Colts two accomplished players capable of challenging Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Baltimore's other receivers. Cam Bynum and rookie A.J. Haulcy are listed as the starting safeties.
Arden Key was added to a defensive line that already included DeForest Buckner, Grover Stewart and Laiatu Latu. That group should present an immediate test for a Ravens offensive line breaking in new starters at center and right guard.
The Colts' roster is deeper and more experienced in several critical areas. Baltimore still has advantages with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, but Indianapolis possesses enough talent to make Jesse Minter's debut uncomfortable if the Ravens fail to establish control early.

The closing match of the 25th round of Brazil's Série B, between Londrina and Juventude, on Tuesday night (the 1st), ended goalless. With the result, the team from Rio Grande do Sul now has 46 points. It leads the competition, followed by Vila Nova (44).
Londrina wasted the chance to play at home, at Vitorino Gonçalves Dias, to try to improve its position in the standings. The team is 18th, with 22 points, seven points behind Avaí, the first side outside the relegation zone.
The 2026 Série B has a new feature. At the end of the first and second halves of the season, the two teams with the most points are promoted directly to the 2027 Série A. The teams finishing in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place will play playoffs to fill the other two promotion spots.

On Sunday, offensive tackle Luke Tenuta was on the Indianapolis Colts' initial 53-man roster. On Monday afternoon, he was released to make room for defensive back Kapena Gushiken, who was claimed on waivers.
Then on Monday evening, Tenuta was signed to the Colts' practice squad.
Tenuta was in line to be the Colts' swing tackle off the bench on the 53-man roster, and he still very well could be.
As of now, there are only eight offensive linemen on the active roster, and the next man up currently behind Bernhard Raimann and Jalen Travis may very well be Matt Goncalves -- the team's starting right guard.
Unless an addition is made between now and Week 1, Tenuta is a primed practice squad elevation to provide tackle depth. Practice squad players can be elevated up to three times over the course of a season.

(NewsNation) — One of the experts Bryan Kohberger's defense team hired before he pleaded guilty says cellphone data points to Madison Mogen as the suspect's primary target.
Sy Ray, a digital forensics expert, told NewsNation's Brian Entin he believes Kohberger stalked Mogen and was in the University of Idaho student's home before the killings.
Kohberger pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty in the 2022 murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

(NewsNation) — Bryan Kohberger has never publicly explained why he killed four University of Idaho students in an off-campus home. But the director of a Netflix docuseries on the murders has a theory.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Skye Borgamn, who directed "The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare," believes he targeted the house because it was filled with women.

At the time of the murders, the house was being rented by Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, and Xana Kernodle, 20, who were stabbed to death by Kohberger, along with Kernodle's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, 20, who was sleeping over.
Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were stabbed to death by Bryan Kohberger on November 13, 2022. Roommates Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen survived by locking themselves in a bedroom.

Admitted Idaho murderer Bryan Kohberger should get a new trial and face the death penalty, according to a digital forensics expert hired by the defense who says investigators missed ****** ing evidence against the 30-year-old former criminology PhD student — evidence he told Fox News Digital investigators never properly ****** yzed or incorporated into the prosecution's case.
Sy Ray is a former Arizona homicide investigator who is now an expert on digital forensics, geolocation and similar data. Kohberger's lawyers hired him as an expert witness for the defense before Kohberger pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty for the home invasion murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, also 20.
Kohberger, now serving four consecutive sentences of life in prison without parole, petitioned the court last week to withdraw his guilty plea and seek post-conviction relief, which could send the case to trial — and put the potential death penalty back in play.

I guess we could start by eliminating those who would not be considered longshots. No starter from a year ago should be in that category. I would also eliminate our first two draft picks, as they are being penciled in as starters as well. As far as free agent acquisitions, Davis-Gaither has a pretty clear path to starting, as does Arden Key. Both should, and frankly need to be, to see the Colts defense improve enough to elevate the entire team.
Maybe not every starter should be being counted on as major contributors? For me, if Travis emerged as a player that you start looking at wanting to lock up, that would mean he was making a pretty huge contribution. Fending off Farmer or Goncalves, would be setting the OL up for a couple of years of strong continuity. I would call Farmer a long-shot, but just barely. I don’t think many would be shocked if he won a role, but he does have a hill to climb as a rookie.
Seeing Dulin, NWI, Gould, or Burks might be candidates, if one of them holds on to a role that many want to see a proven veteran be brought in to take. Either of our draft picks, Giddens or McGowan, would be logical choices, provided they win a role or see the field often enough to help. Seeing AR or Leonard become the starter for any stretch, would mean that something went wrong. But, should either get the opportunity and run with it, it certainly would change the narrative for 2027.
There is a decent chance that Haulcey gets the first shot at Safety aside Bynum. There are some players who might push him, or push for time as a 3rd Safety/coverage LB. Wohler, Thomas, and Owens might get some opportunities, should Haulcey not take the role by the horns. If Ward or Sauce are not on the field, we have spent unwisely. If Walley is not on the field, we have ****** umed too much. It would, however, open up a chance to see if Taylor-Britt’s experience in the defense might play well. We have seen the other candidates at corner and a leap would have to be considered in the longshot range.
Boettcher is interesting prospect. Although not truly hyped, he doesn’t have a proven player to rise above. I think if Carlies really had something, we would have seen it by now. Behind Grover, the most likely options are Wooden and Adebawore to have some impact. On the edge, JTT and Clemons are the “vets”, along with the rookies Gumbs and Curry.

Between now and training camp, we will be going through the Indianapolis Colts' full 90-man roster, previewing each player.
Up next is guard Matt Goncalves, who wears No. 71.
Height: 6-6
Weight: 317
Age: 25

Training camp for the Indianapolis Colts kicks off in about a month, so as part of our preview of what's to come, we will be evaluating each positional battle that is expected to unfold.
What took place during offseason programs laid the foundation for each of these competitions and provided us with some insights into where things may stand. That said, how training camp and the preseason unfold will ultimately determine who wins these roles.
Next up is the offensive line unit.
I'm not going to completely rule out rookie Jalen Farmer pushing Matt Goncalves for snaps at right guard, but we should expect Goncalves to be the Week 1 starter. Offensive line coach Tony Sparano is very bullish about Goncalves making a jump in Year 2 as a guard.
So perhaps more applicable to this training camp battle conversation is what the depth chart beyond the starters will look like, specifically at tackle? Luke Tenuta, Blake Freeland, and Nolan Rucci will all be in the mix for that first off-the-bench role.

A number of memorial services for the artist will take place from next year after Hockney, best known for works such as "The Splash," "A Bigger Splash," and "Portrait Of An Artist (Pool With Two Figures)," died peacefully at his home aged 88 on June 11.
His publicist Erica Bolton said: "We have been overwhelmed by your tributes which have meant so much to us and we wanted to thank you.
"As we have already received so many inquiries about David Hockney's funeral arrangements and memorials, we would like to clarify that it was David's clear wish that his funeral should be attended only by his partner, JP, and his great-nephew Richard; and that their privacy would be respected.
"The funeral has already taken place.
