Robin Williams's kids revived his Instagram to speak up against the AI-generated content of their late father. Zak, Zelda and Cody Williams made a joint statement on the "Good Will Hunting" star's Instagram profile. "As we recognize what would be our Dad's 75th year, we're grateful to see new generations discovering his work while longtime fans continue to celebrate the joy he brought into their lives," they wrote. Further, the trio created awareness about safe use of technology.
"As technology evolves, we want this to be a safe, trusted place where the stories, photos, videos, and memories shared reflect his legacy with authenticity, warmth, and care," they said. Zak, Zelda, and Cody continued, "This is our way of sharing his unique talent and humor with the world, including the moments that made us and so many of you laugh, as we remember our Dad's extraordinary life and work." The trio added. "He continues to inspire us and delight people all over the world."
Zelda Williams elaborated on the matter in an Instagram story on her personal account. She acknowledged that it must be "triggering" for anyone to see the late actor's account reactivated. "Believe me, I know it's a little strange," the 37-year-old wrote. She further added, "Making that ****** e into one where people can find authentic clips and photos of him is one of the best ways we've now found to fight back against rampant AI abuse of his voice and likeness on here."
Last year, Zelda pleaded on her Instagram stories to stop sending AI videos of her father. She couldn't tolerate "horrible TikTok slop" that is "puppeteering" William's authentic work. Zelda said people are "making disgusting, over-processed hotdogs out of the lives of human beings, out of the history of art and music, and then shoving them down someone else's throat hoping they'll give you a little thumbs up and like it."

Alan Dershowitz said he is still a pariah on his beloved Martha's Vineyard, and fellow island vacationer Larry David still won't speak to him.
For several years now, Dershowitz has lamented his fallen status on the island, starting around the time he acted as defense counsel in President Donald Trump's first impeachment trial. Dershowitz, a staunch Democrat for 67 years, registered as a Republican this year.
On Tuesday, The Atlantic published an interview with Dershowitz by Mark Leibovich, who spoke with the famous lawyer and professor emeritus at Harvard Law. The piece is ****** led, "Alan Dershowitz Won't Forget What Larry David Did To Him."
Until 2021, Dershowitz and the Seinfeld co-creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator were friends, or at least friendly with one another. But that year, there was an ugly encounter at the Chilmark General Store, which Leibovich recounted thus:

The UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House's South Lawn, a celebration of the U.S.'s 250th birthday and Donald Trump's 80th on June 14, was well-received by fans, despite some of the lewd comments made by fighter Josh Hokit about former First Lady Michelle Obama, which UFC President Dana White himself even called "disgusting."
Even with Hokit's transgression, the atmosphere was undeniable, with podcaster Joe Rogan, who commentated the event, saying, "That was the wildest experience that I've ever had in my 20-whatever years of calling combat sports. There's nothing even close."
White said that Paramount CEO David Ellison was thirlled with the event's impact on the Paramount+ streaming service.
"In every way you can measure success, … it was monstrous tonight. You don't get calls from billionaires flipping out too often," he said of speaking with Ellison.
Still, for all its successes, White insisted in the event's aftermath that the event was a one-time affair.

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — The Scottish Football ***** ociation has handed new Rangers manager Derek McInnes a four-match ban for his critical comments about a disputed penalty that benefited Celtic in last season's ***** le race.

Rangers intend to contest a four-match touchline ban given to manager Derek McInnes for describing as "disgusting" the decision to award Celtic a late penalty at Motherwell in May.

In 2024, Charles Stuart, aka "Snake the Bigfoot Hunter," claims he found the decomposing remains of an eight-foot-tall, 300-pound Bigfoot in Adirondack Park in Upstate New York.
"I could smell it because this body was decaying," Snake told NewsNation's Jesse Weber on Thursday. "This thing was sitting in a poison ivy patch and just was absolutely disgusting."
