Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres are going to be neighbors again!
Two years after the former talk show host, 68, and her wife, Portia de Rossi, moved to the U.K., the ******* ss of Sussex, 45, and her husband, Prince Harry, have followed suit, touching down in Birmingham, England on Tuesday, August 26 via private jet with their two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in tow, according to the BBC.
"Before Ellen and Portia left Montecito, she was seeing them all the time," reveals the source. "They got very close, and Meghan is really excited about reconnecting. She and [Prince Harry] are going to be living in the same area, so it will be easy to pop over to visit any time of day."
Days prior to their arrival, the Daily Mail reported that Harry, 41, and Meghan went house hunting in the Cotswolds, where DeGeneres and Rossi, 53, own two homes: a $20 million farmhouse and a "larger, more contemporary estate nearby," per The Wall Street Journal.

Even the happiest of couples can feel the strain of a big move, so Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are putting in the work to ensure their eight-year marriage "survives" after relocating their home base from California to England, says a source.
"They're very aware that this is going to be challenging — it's an enormous upheaval," the source tells Star. "But they're being proactive and talking about what can be done to make sure the stress of this all doesn't tear them apart."
As Star previously reported, the Spare author, 41, and the As Ever founder, 45, escaped the U.K. in 2020 amid tensions with the royal family, however they recently moved back, enrolling children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in school for the fall.
Fellow Montecito, Calif., transplant Ellen DeGeneres even helped the Sussexes find a new home, Star has learned.
In the wake of their migration, "Harry and Meghan agreed that they need to schedule date nights so that they will have private time to reconnect," the source notes. "They're both going to be extremely busy, which means it really does need to go in the calendar or it simply won't happen."

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing jokes over her "Eggxit" from California as she and Prince Harry prepare to spend an extended period in Britain. The couple plans to bring their dogs, but their much-loved flock of chickens will remain at their Montecito home under the care of household staff.
Harry and Meghan are preparing for a major change in their family routine after six years in California. However, their move across the Atlantic does not mean they are cutting ties with the US. Their Montecito mansion will remain, along with the chicken coop that became an unexpected symbol of Meghan's post-royal life.
"There has been plenty of joking about 'Eggxit' because the chickens became such a recognizable part of Meghan's California life," the source claimed to RadarOnline. "They featured prominently in the image she created after leaving Britain, so there is an obvious irony that the family is heading back to the UK while the chickens stay behind."
Meghan reportedly remains very attached to the chickens, but moving them across the Atlantic was never a realistic option. Another insider said the birds will stay at the Montecito home and continue to receive proper care.
Harry and Meghan originally rescued 10 hens from a commercial farm in California. Their neighbor, Ellen DeGeneres, later gave them another chicken. The birds also appeared during the couple's famous interview with Oprah Winfrey and later featured in one of Meghan's Netflix projects. The family even gave their chicken coop a personal name, "Archie's Chick Inn," after their son, Prince Archie.

Prince Harry grew up in palaces, but apparently even a prince needs a little help when it comes to house hunting.
Harry and Meghan Markle's unexpected — and sudden — move back to the U.K. created many last-minute needs for their family, including where they should live. Given King Charles' immense real estate portfolio, that would be the first place the Duke of Sussex could turn, but he reportedly asked an A-list pal for help instead.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stunned many when they announced they would be returning to the United Kingdom alongside their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
During their time in the United States, the family had two dogs, Pula and Mia, who were rescued in 2018 and 2022, respectively. They also have a flock of rescued chickens, but will any of these also be crossing the pond with the family?
HELLO! understands that while it's thought that the dogs will come with them, the chickens are unlikely to be crossing the Atlantic. However, this doesn't mean that the birds will be gotten rid of, as in the family's absence, staff will be tending to their Montecito home.
One of the chickens that the couple own is Sinkie, who previously belonged to Ellen DeGeneres, before the legendary comedian also moved to the UK. The bird had a broken fibula, which led to it being "picked on" by Ellen's other chickens.
"Sinkie's leg is fixed but our chickens were still picking on her so she had to be re-homed," Ellen revealed in a social media post. "Luckily our friends Harry and Meghan's coop had room for one more. Not sure yet what her royal ****** le will be."
