Actor C.W. Morgan has passed away at the age of 72. He was known for playing Billy Loomis' father in Scream and Scream 3. According to medical reports, Morgan died on August 30, 2026, though the reason has not been disclosed.
The confirmation of his death comes from Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records seen by TMZ and Entertainment Weekly. According to the records, Morgan died in a bathroom in Los Angeles. An LAPD spokesperson told TMZ that the death appears to be a result of natural causes.
Morgan was born in Bisbee, Arizona, and began his acting career in entertainment by starring in the 1991 TV series, Midnight Caller. Following that, he appeared in the 1992 TV movie, The Last of His Tribe. Besides the Scream movies, Morgan has also appeared in the film Metro and the TV show Nash Bridges as himself. In addition to his film and television work, he also lent his voice to the 1997 video game, The Last Express.
While his appearances were brief, his character, Hank Loomis, holds great importance to Scream fans. In the original film, it is revealed that Hank had an affair with Sidney Prescott's mother, which eventually led to his son, Billy, becoming Ghostface.
Morgan's daughter, Renata Macfie, paid tribute to the actor on Facebook. "I'm never going to have the right words for this post. Losing you has left the biggest hole in my heart. I will carry on our Mulholland drives and our Starbucks outings. I'm grateful and lucky to have had you as my daddy. My Guck. Rest easy, bubby. Life will never be the same without you and your poorly timed jokes that I inherited from you. Love you endlessly (no more fighting about that anymore, I win)."

After acquiring a restraining order against Dolly Parton's nephew Bryan Seaver, her company is leveling allegations that he implemented evasive measures to avoid being served legal documents in the case.
Lawyers for She's Alive, LLC. – also known as SAL, which Parton established to protect her professional property and business interests upon her death – submitted court filings on Oct. 5 pushing back against Seaver's request to delay the next court hearing so he would have time to meet with his new legal counsel.
One of the reasons, they allege, was that on three occasions he "attempted to evade service of process, and this Court should not reward that behavior."

As people discuss the love lives of British royals, it's hard not to be curious about the ones who got away. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and ******* ss of Sussex, got married in May 2018 at the ages of 33 and 36. Like his older brother William, Prince of Wales, Harry had more than one girlfriend during his bachelorhood and a couple of rumored flings. Harry's exes, Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, impacted him the most, and he's on such good terms with them that they were guests at the royal wedding. The prince dated Davy on and off from 2004 to 2011, and he was with Bonas from 2012 to 2014.
Meghan also had an eventful love life before Harry swept her off her feet. She dated ex-husband Trevor Engelson for 7 years before marrying him in 2011. They separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce the following year. She was linked to Cory Vitiello during her "Suits" days in Canada, but the two stopped dating in 2016, the year she met Harry.
Although one of Harry's exes could have become a royal, and one of Meghan's exes could have watched her do more with her acting career, things seemed to have worked out for the best. The duke and ******* ss' former partners are doing pretty well for themselves out of the spotlight that Harry and Meghan constantly find themselves in.

Ricky Schroder got slammed online following his transphobic and anti-vaccine laced tribute to Dolly Parton.
Remembrance after remembrance flooded the internet Tuesday after news that the country music legend had died. Schroder – who played Parton's father in two TV movies, "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors" and "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love" – joined his voice to the many. But he still couldn't help but point out their political differences in his tribute.
"I didnt [sic] agree with her advocating for Transgender & Covid Vaccine support…but Loved her anyway," Schroder wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him and Parton. "Thank you for choosing me Dolly to be your Movie Daddy."
This led to a number of celebrities calling the "NYPD Blue" star out for feeling the need to mention those things while honoring Parton. Katie Couric, Boy George, and many others heaped on their disgust for the way Schroder chose to honor Parton's memory.
"Ick," Couric wrote on Threads.

Brittany Mahomes could never be accused of not being a supportive wife. She is always at the Kansas City Chiefs football games to cheer on her quarterback husband Patrick Mahomes — and her outfits are often a bold combination of the team's red and gold colors. However, they don't always work for her. Throughout the years as a WAG, Mahomes has sported totally stylish outfits and fashion flops on game days, and the worst-dressed moments stand out the most.
Bold colors that didn't pay off, jackets that didn't match the vibe, and a pair of fuzzy sherpa pants have all made Brittany look less than her best at a Chiefs game. That doesn't mean she doesn't have style sense. After all, just look at how drop-dead gorgeous she was at a July 2026 wedding, and she has definitely had some head-turning Super Bowl looks!
Still, there's only so much you can do with a combo of red, gold, and white, so we don't blame Brittany for her swings and misses (still, maybe she could use this as a learning moment?). We can't help but cringe looking back at some of Brittany's worst-dressed sideline moments.

The two reality television personalities have faced dating rumors before, but both have repeatedly described their relationship as a friendship.

A 63-year-old Bronx man was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass for the incident.
A 63-year-old Bronx man was arrested after police say he drove a Subaru through the closed security gates at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's East Hampton home, severely damaging the entrance.
The East Hampton Star reported that the crash happened on Wednesday afternoon at the couple's property in the Georgica neighborhood. Investigators have not determined whether the man was targeting the house or its famous owners, and police said they found no weapons or a note explaining his actions.
A security guard told officers the vehicle traveled up the driveway at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the closed mechanical gates. After the impact, the driver remained inside the damaged car until the property's security team instructed him to get out. He complied and was restrained before village police arrived.
"He wasn't making threats. He seemed confused," Detective Sgt. Jennifer Dunn said.
