The facility is secured by project cash flows and contracted revenues and is expected to support the continued expansion of Revolve's distributed generation business in Mexico while enabling the company to recycle capital from existing operating and construction-stage ****** ets into future growth opportunities.Concurrent with the signing of the facility, Revolve expects to complete an initial drawdown of about MXN$128.8 million ($7.7 million) backed by operating ****** ets and projects currently under construction. TAMARAC, Fla. (AP) — Sporting red-white-and-blue sneakers and a matching bedazzled manicure ahead of Florida's primaries on Tuesday, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz smiles and tells voters she is "running for reelection to Congress."
That's true — with a caveat. Wasserman Schultz is seeking her 12th term by running in a new district after Republicans scrambled the state's congressional map earlier this year.
The fallout pushed Wasserman Schultz, a former national party chair with powerful ties in Washington, to cross district lines from her Fort Lauderdale exurb and be the only white candidate against four Black candidates in an area of Broward County that has helped send Black Democrats to Congress since 1992. That's yielded an uncomfortable fight following the U.S. Supreme Court decision that gutted the Voting Rights Act provisions undergirding minority voting strength and effectively cleared Old Confederacy states, including Florida, to reshape House districts.
"For her to come in like this is just another Broward seat, it's a complete erasure of our history, our fight for Black access," said former Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, 47, who resigned from the seat in April while facing an ethics investigation but now wants it back.
Another candidate, 27-year-old progressive organizer and substitute teacher Elijah Manley, said Republicans' redistricting ploy is not Wasserman Schultz's fault. But she "had other options," Manley added, including running in her new home district, which was gerrymandered to include the more conservative Gulf Coast.

Tommy John, who won 288 games over a 26-year MLB career died at the age of 83.
John played for six teams from 1963-89. He spent eight years with the Yankees, seven with the White Sox, and six with the Los Angeles Dodgers. John won 91 games as a Yankee, 87 for LA and 82 with the White Sox.
He is also known as the namesake of a pioneering surgery after suffering a torn UCL in 1974. The procedure where a tendon was taken from the wrist and placed in the elbow, gave John his career back and has become commonplace in saving pitchers from having their baseball runs end.

Tommy John, the namesake of a ligament-replacement surgery that paved a path to recovery for injured baseball players, has died. He was 83.
TMZ.com cited a statement released by John's agent, Mike Maguire, saying the pitcher passed away at his home in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., surrounded by his wife, Cheryl, and family. John had been in hospice care in Bradenton, Fla.
The New York Yankees released a statement on Sunday following the news of John's passing.
"The New York Yankees mourn the passing of Tommy John, who was a bedrock of our rotation during his time in pinstripes and a longtime favorite of Yankees fans," the statement read. "While his incredible longevity and post-surgery achievements changed the fortunes and trajectory of countless athletes around the world, it also overshadowed his excellence as a pitcher, which included consecutive 20-win seasons with the Yankees.

Some days, Tamara Johnson wonders how her life changed so rapidly.
Johnson, 58, made six figures in an executive leadership position, and when her mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and dementia in 2017, she moved from New Orleans to Virginia, where she continued to work while caring for her mother.
Three years after her mom's death in 2020, Johnson's husband suffered a series of catastrophic medical events. To care for him full-time, she took a temporary leave and then quit her job this year. She relied on income from her job's deferred resignation program and her savings to pay for his long-term care. Johnson estimates her family spent over $700,000 in total between her mom's and husband's care. Coming up with that money has been harder, as her husband's income from medical disability retirement was quartered.
"I was one of those people who was taught that you don't quit, you suck it up, and you keep going," Johnson said. "I felt like I didn't have the luxury of falling apart, because if I fell apart, then who would pick up the slack?"

Bella Thorne has opened up about her mental health struggles.
The actor, who is best known for starring as CeCe Jones in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up, talked about the ramifications of her childhood relationship with her mother, Tamara Thorne, on the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
"I think between everything, with a lot of the work and growing up and the way that I did, I struggled very badly with suicidal thoughts and depression," Thorne shared during the Wednesday episode.
"And I thought at one point, if I had hurt myself then maybe she would see how much pain I was in."
Thorne's negative thoughts were a trigger for her to leave her childhood home as soon as she turned 18.
"I could feel the erratic-ness coming on again," she reflected. "Not having the **** e to actually talk about what happens when you turn 18. I think I was so scared and my mom was so scared. We were both so scared."
