Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray remained positive despite his side's 2-1 defeat against QPR.
The visitors came from behind to win at Ewood Park after Ryoya Morishita's spectacular strike had put Rovers ahead.
"I think there were lots of positives today," Mowbray told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"We played against a good team - I thought we managed them pretty well, to be honest - and it was a really tight game. We had spells where we were pretty dominant, and they had moments too.
"I've said to them in the dressing room: 'Lots and lots of positives today'. If we can maintain the performance from the first 60 minutes for 90 [minutes], we'll be fine.

Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray revealed he has met with the club's owners as he seeks more support in the transfer market.
Blackburn have made just one new signing so far this summer – Jayden Fevrier from Stockport County for £500,000, as well as making Moussa Baradji's loan move permanent.
After finishing 20th in the Championship last season, they could be at serious risk of relegation without further reinforcements.
"I'm back just this morning, I was up at 4am, from Zurich," Mowbray told talkSPORT. "I've been meeting the owners in Switzerland yesterday.
"Trying to appeal about needing a little bit of help, financial help, to try and put Blackburn back where we need to be, being more competitive in the Championship. And to give ourselves a chance. The play-offs go down to eighth this season and so, can we sneak in?

Blackburn Rovers have brought in former Wycombe boss Mike Dodds as their new ****** istant head coach.
Dodds leaves Oxford United, where he worked alongside former head coach Matt Bloomfield, to link back up with Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray.
The 40-year-old began his career as a youth coach at Coventry before spending 12 years within Birmingham's set-up.
He left Blues in 2021 for Sunderland where he worked alongside Mowbray as head of individual player development.
He took charge of 18 games as caretaker manager of the Black Cats, winning four matches, during 2023-24 before being appointed Wycombe head coach in 2025.

Former Manchester United star Phil Jones could reportedly be on the move, with Sheffield United eager to add him to their backroom staff.
