The new Giallorossi midfielder gave his first interview to the club's official channels, discussing his feelings after arriving in the capital, his special relationship with Gian Piero Gasperini, and also revisiting his old social media posts against Roma.
He then discussed the Olimpico, the Champions League, and the role he could play in the dressing room.
"I'm super happy, it's something really great, moving to a big club. Then I saw the training center, which is top-notch, and I really want to leave."
"Gasperini? He brought me up; I played under him for nine years, and we achieved fantastic results. I had a very special relationship with him; I played all the time, and at one point I was his captain."

AS Roma travel to Salento to face Lecce at the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero on Sunday in their next Serie A fixture.
The Giallorossi arrive in excellent form, sitting atop the table after a convincing 4-0 victory over Fiorentina on Matchday 1. Under Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma have strung together six straight Serie A wins stretching back into the closing stages of last season, recording five clean sheets during that run. Historically strong against Lecce, Roma have won their last four meetings and start as clear favourites to lengthen that streak.
Manager Gian Piero Gasperini must balance new signings with a handful of ongoing injury issues ahead of the trip to Salento. Argentine defender Leonardo Balerdi has been included in the squad for the first time and is widely expected to make his starting debut.
Midfielder Marten De Roon has quickly become part of the group after a surprise deadline-day move from Atalanta.
However, Roma will be without key players Lorenzo Pellegrini and Devyne Rensch, both sidelined with thigh and flexor problems; both are due to rejoin full team training next week.

Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has explained why Roma were able to pinch Marten De Roon from Atalanta in such quick fashion, has commented on the recent arrival of Leonardo Balerdi, but denies that there have been any formal approaches for Matias Soule.
The Giallorossi are having a busy end to the summer transfer window, with De Roon on his way over from Atalanta to reunite with Gasperini, and with the arrival of Balerdi from Marseille. Additionally, Neil El-Aynaoui looks set to join RB Leipzig, Soule has been linked with a move to the Premier League, while Gasp says that he still wants another two additions before the close of the summer transfer window on September 1.

Gasperini had an opportunity to discuss Roma's transfer business during his pre-match press conference on Sunday, ahead of his side's upcoming league clash away against Lecce on Monday evening.
"It was something that came about quickly," said Gasperini, discussing Roma's deal for long-term Atalanta servant De Roon.

The Washington Commanders trimmed their suddenly crowded running back room by one recently. Last week, Washington placed fifth-year veteran Jerome Ford on the reserve/injured list after he'd suffered a hamstring injury in the preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins.
Once Ford was moved to IR, the Commanders and Ford were expected to reach an injury settlement, which would allow Ford to sign with another team once he's healthy. According to Martenzie Johnson of NOTUS, Washington recently released Ford, meaning he's no longer on the roster.
The move is not a surprise. Even if Ford had made it through the preseason healthy, he faced long odds at making the Commanders' 53-man roster. Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White are locks, while rookie sixth-round pick Kaytron Allen is close.
With Washington likely keeping four backs, veteran Jeremy McNichols is the leading candidate for the final spot, but undrafted rookie Robert Henry Jr. is making a push. After a strong showing in the preseason opener, Henry had a rough outing in Saturday's loss to the Lions. McNichols is currently sidelined with a quad injury, but Washington knows him well and everything that he brings to the table.

The corset cinched her waist, highlighting her curves. She layered all of it with a custom Saint Laurent jacket featuring dark burgundy contrasts and shimmering crystal trim along the seams.
Further, adding a distinct football-inspired flair to the outfit, the back of the jacket was emblazoned with "MADONNA 10" in bold, crystal-embellished lettering. The lower half of her look comprised an array of high-octane footwear and legwear details. She was wearing fishnet tights and lace-trimmed thigh-high stockings. On one leg, she also sported a bright pink knee sleeve embellished with a glittering crystal star patch. Finally, she wore metallic leather Danceteria lace-up boots.
On her hands, Madonna sported a pair of custom fingerless gloves resembling traditional goalkeeper ones. Swarovski crystals adorned the gloves.
