Jeremy Shockey spent his NFL career determined not to let fatherhood interfere with football. More than two decades later, the former New York Giants tight end has had a major change of heart.
Shockey, 45, revealed on the Sunday, August 2 episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast that he underwent a vasectomy at just 21 years old, shortly after entering the NFL.
He has since had the procedure reversed and told host and fellow ex-NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe, 58, that he wants to have children of his own.
That desire is a far cry from where Shockey's head was at when the Giants drafted him 14th overall in 2002. He opted to get the procedure early in his NFL career, explaining that fatherhood simply didn't fit the life he was building. "I had no kids, I didn't want any kids," he said on the podcast, adding that he only had "so much ****** e" in his head for anything beyond football.

All roads lead back to comedy for Kevin Hart.
Hart is a comedian who has expanded his business ventures beyond comedy shows. He currently has an R-rated comedy film streaming on Netflix called "72 Hours," produced in partnership with Sony, Davis Entertainment, Counterbalance Entertainment, Will Packer, and Hart's own studio, Hartbeat, according to What's On Netflix.

Justin Theroux ordered custom-made scrubs to wear to the hospital for his son's birth.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, guest host Ike Barinholtz asked his Running Point co-star about the arrival of his first child.
Justin and his wife, actress Nicole Brydon Bloom, tied the knot in March 2025 and welcomed their son - whose name has not yet been announced - in April.
"It's the best," he said of fatherhood, before reflecting on preparing for the birth. "I think I was very helpful, in the whole process. My wife was incredibly helpful... She was great in the setup of it... we had our go bags, all that stuff. I was more worried about, sort of, what I was going to wear."
The Leftovers star went on to recall how he decided to wear scrubs while Nicole was giving birth.
"I mean, in all seriousness, it's not about me. So, I went ahead and I Googled and I got these scrubs (from FIGS Scrubs). I had scrubs made with my name on it and I had the little cap like Noah Wyle wears in (HBO hospital drama) The Pitt. I just wanted to blend in; I didn't want to make this about me. So, I wore the outfit," the 54-year-old recounted.

Ryan Armour has seen plenty of competition the past two years. It just hasn't been him out there.
A quick scroll through Armour's participation in both PGA Tour and Korn Ferry events shows a total of 21 tournaments in 2024 and 2025 combined. He's made less than half of his cuts in that time and generally operated outside of the consciousness of the sport.

"It was great. I loved every second of it. It doesn't equate to good golf, but it equates to a good fatherhood, good family and a lot of fun with your kids."
