"My father drove one of the comedians from blue collar comedy tour and he said he heard him talking to someone about how much merchandise they sold at the show that he was just performing. I thought that was kinda cool."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's friend has reportedly suggested that the couple's recent romantic photos from their UK outing may carry a deeper meaning. The Duke and ***** ss of Sussex were recently photographed holding hands during a lunch date at a Cotswold pub. Notably, the outing marked the couple's first public appearance together since reportedly relocating back to the UK on August 26.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's friend told Rob Shuter that the photos from the couple's recent UK outing were taken with intention and purpose. For those unfamiliar, The Sun published exclusive images of the Sussexes on October 2, showing Harry and Meghan holding hands as they arrived at The Falkland Arms pub in the Cotswolds on October 1.
The couple opted for subtly coordinated dark-toned outfits, and both wore sunglasses during the outing. The "Suits" star wore an all-black ensemble with her hair loose, while the Duke of Sussex sported an olive-green fall jacket and a baseball cap.
The friend claimed, "This has Meghan's fingerprints all over it." The source explained that Markle is highly familiar with the worlds of media, photography, and publicity. According to the friend, she understood that the timing was right to send a pointed message to their critics and naysayers through the loved-up images.
A media insider also weighed in on the couple's recent UK outing, arguing that the paparazzi did not simply happen to capture the pair. Instead, the insider claimed that Harry and Meghan provided ample opportunities to be photographed.

Conan O'Brien joked about having the same decorating style as President Donald Trump during a silly moment on his latest podcast.
While riffing about his beloved golden retriever on Monday's episode of "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," the comic said he deals with his dog's shedding habit by buying exclusively gold clothes.
Spotting an opportunity to roast the president and his famous fondness for shiny things, O'Brien said he'd even given his home the Midas touch with a metallic paint job and "all gold rugs."

Mark Ruffalo is rejecting Paramount's claim that his recent comments highlighting the role Larry Ellison's Oracle played in the Israel-Gaza war were "antisemitic."
"The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest," Ruffalo wrote on X Saturday morning. "Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect. Everything I know about acting, activism and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life."

Recent reports claim Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are preparing for an extended U.K. return. They reportedly want a quiet, non-royal existence there along with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Neither the Duke nor the ******* ss of Sussex has publicly confirmed the move. However, a spokesperson told the BBC that the couple plans to relocate later this month. The move has already sparked debate about what their future role could look like.
According to the Daily Express, former royal butler Grant Harrold believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will remain highly visible after returning to Britain. The couple will likely keep a high profile even though they are no longer working royals. Harrold said the royal family will need to answer one major question once the Sussexes settle back in the U.K. "I think this is going to be the big thing for both the Royal Family and the Sussexes to work out. What will they actually do all day?"
He also believes the couple will not be content living a quiet life away from public attention. "I don't think either Meghan or Harry will be happy to just settle into a quiet UK life in the background; they will want to be at the forefront." According to Harrold, the Duke and ******* ss may instead continue building their own public profile through charity work and personal projects.
He suggested they could live as "unofficial royals," carrying out engagements independently rather than on behalf of King Charles. The former butler added that Meghan could continue expanding her As Ever lifestyle brand in the U.K., while Harry is expected to focus heavily on promoting the 2027 Invictus Games.
Harrold also questioned what other projects Harry might pursue in Britain. He noted that television networks would likely be interested in working with the duke on future appearances. Meanwhile, reports continue to suggest King Charles has ruled out any return to a formal "half-in, half-out" royal arrangement. However, discussions about the Sussexes' future role have fueled ongoing speculation.

Linda Blair says her dog rescue remains under control after authorities found 251 animals at her Southern California property. The Exorcist star maintains that paperwork and permit issues, not the dogs' welfare, triggered the investigation. Officials found no signs that the animals were sick or injured. However, the county's review remains active as neighbors question the number of dogs housed at the facility.
Authorities served an investigative warrant at Blair's 2.5-acre property after the kennel's permits reportedly expired in 2023, TMZ reported. The Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning said officials had made 24 attempts to arrange inspections over three years.
Officials counted 251 dogs while checking structures and possible code violations. Law enforcement told the outlet that "no dogs showed signs of illness or injury," and authorities did not remove any animals.
Blair addressed the search in a Facebook video. "I am fine, the animals are fine," she said, describing the dispute as a matter involving paperwork and updated property diagrams. She also said she had been trying to relocate so she could expand her rescue work.
The new information follows an earlier search of Blair's property, which initially focused on a kennel believed to house more than 100 dogs. The latest count more than doubled that estimate.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's latest diplomatic stop is drawing attention for what she wore, not what she said.
The 57-year-old U.S. ambassador to Greece visited the Ormylia Monastery in Halkidiki on Thursday, July 30, according to a report from Greek City Times.
For the visit, she wore a fitted turquoise knee-length dress with a plunging neckline and pointed-toe stilettos. In a photo taken with a group of monks and nuns, who were covered from head to toe except for their faces and hands, Guilfoyle's outfit stood in stark contrast to the monastery's modest dress standards, making her appear notably underdressed.

"I was deeply moved to visit the Ormylia Foundation and Monastery this week," Guilfoyle said, per the outlet. "I met with their dedicated volunteers, including Abbot Elisaios, Dr. Doumas, Brother Charlie, and the remarkable Reverend Mother Nikodimi and her sisters. Their work healing bodies through the Medical Center's life-saving screenings and nurturing souls through faith is a beautiful example of compassion in action. I am grateful for the partnership between the United States and this extraordinary community."

Elsa Pataky shared a series of rare family photos featuring her and Chris Hemsworth's three children after revealing their long-awaited trip to the FIFA World Cup final ended in heartbreak.
The Fast & Furious actress, 50, had travelled from Costa Rica with daughter India Rose, 14, and 12-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan, hoping to watch Spain take on Argentina in the final at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
Instead, a travel nightmare meant the family never made it to the match. Taking to Instagram, Elsa shared several photos of her children wrapped in Spanish flags as they wandered through Times Square before posing together on the streets of New York.
The rare snapshots highlighted just how much the Hemsworth children have grown, with India now almost as tall as her famous mother, while Sasha and Tristan looked every bit the teenagers.
Alongside the images, Elsa explained in Spanish that their flight from Costa Rica to New York had been diverted to Philadelphia, leaving the family stranded for five hours.

Comedian Alan Carr is set to keep the only lot which failed to sell at an auction of unwanted items from his recently purchased Scottish castleconcrete cow sculpture.
It was revealed in February that the Celebrity Traitors winner had bought Ayton Castle in the Scottish Borders.
Hundreds of "residual" contents - unwanted by both Carr and the former owners - were sold at auction on Sunday.
But auctioneer Jim Railton said the cow - part of a wider collection of sculptures - had failed to find a bidder and the comedian was set to keep it as a memento.
The auction took place at Ayton Castle on Sunday after viewings on Friday and Saturday.
