Our ****** ysts just identified a stock with the potential to be the next Nvidia. Tell us how you invest and we'll show you why it's our #1 pick. Tap here.
Saleable coal production grew 8% to 11.5 million tonnes, exceeding guidance due to the successful ramp-up of New Acland and Bengalla returning to nameplate capacity.
Management attributed the 10% decline in average realized price to $145 per tonne to broader market cyclicality, though low-cost ****** ets maintained a resilient $45 per tonne margin.
Bengalla's performance was impacted by a temporary increase in strip ratio and pit resequencing following significant weather events late in the 2025 financial year.
The group shifted its primary safety metric to High Potential Event Frequency Rate (HPEFR) to focus on preventing fatal or life-altering risks rather than just traditional injury counts.

Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) began a 36-month share-repurchase authorization on August 24 that permits the company to buy up to 14.4 million common shares, representing approximately 5% of shares outstanding as of August 14, for as much as US$300 million.
The headline amount overstates what Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) would spend at its current valuation. At the August 24 closing price of $18.28, repurchasing the full 14.4 million shares would cost approximately $263.2 million before transaction costs. The share limit would become the binding constraint unless the average purchase price exceeds roughly $20.83.
The buyback is financially plausible because Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) ended June with C$1.23 billion of cash. First-half operating cash flow reached C$31.6 million, compared with a C$14.9 million outflow a year earlier, while second-quarter revenue increased to C$43.0 million from C$7.2 million.
Sangdong is also moving beyond construction. Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) began feeding stockpiled ore into the processing plant in June to produce saleable tungsten concentrate. Phase I is designed for approximately 640,000 tonnes of annual ore throughput, and the planned Phase II expansion could increase capacity to approximately 1.2 million tonnes.
If management is correct that the market undervalues Sangdong's future cash flow, retiring shares before the mine reaches full output could increase each remaining shareholder's participation in that growth. Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) also has flexibility to spread purchases across three years rather than committing the entire amount immediately.

The thing I hate about this time of year is that it means the entire soccer world becomes an Umberto Eco novel. Every little thing is weighted with significance, evidence of some larger narrative that only the most psychotically semiotic can follow. Speculation becomes rumor becomes fact until everything spirals out of control. Sweaty access merchants like Fabrizio Romanò breathlessly publish statements from agents as "news" as if there's the quid isn't vastly outweighed by the quo. It's discouraging to sift through and infuriating to write about. And alas, I have to wade into this meritless swamp to write about Moise Kean.
Let's start with the basics. Kean is in his prime at 26. He's under contract at Fiorentina until 2030 after extending last summer despite months of speculation. He's Italy's best striker and the only guy who came out of its failed World Cup qualifying campaign with an enhanced reputation. 2025-2026 was a down year at domestic level (8 Serie A goals in 26 appearances) as he dealt with ankle and calf injuries that sapped his effectiveness all year as well as a team context that polluted everyone it touched. ****** ody thinks that version of the Moose is the real one, although his outrageous 2024-2025 is probably the ceiling rather than the norm.
As Fiorentina's best player, he was always going to be a popular grist for the rumor mill this summer. New DS Fabio Paratici is tearing this squad down to the foundation, ruthlessly excising anyone with the slightest odor of Daniele Pradè in his quest to reduce the wage bill. Having nearly set the club record for most expensive transfer window in the opening fortnight of the transfer window and with numerous additions pending, he needs to find money somewhere. Kean's the highest-paid guy on the roster and its most saleable ****** et. The math is simple.
Besides being simple, the math also just got cheaper. Kean's extension last summer contained a €72 million release clause that extended for 365 days. It's now expired, intensifying speculation that he could be on the move. The consensus price that the Viola would accept hovers around €40 million. I'd say that's about reasonable, although perhaps a bit on the low side, especially factoring in Paratici's need to balance the books after spending €90 million already. And hey, he already sold Kean at Juventus in 2019 for €30 million.
Speaking of big transfer fees, Como's reportedly at the window, fueling speculation that the nouveau rich Lariani might make a bid for the striker. On the surface, it adds up: Tasos Douvikas was excellent last year but Kean represents a step up in quality from the Greek international, while Álvaro Morata is 33 and on the wane despite his popularity with his teammates. Como also needs to add more players trained in Italy to meet UEFA's registration rules for the Champions League (unless the plan is to ignore those like it does FFP). Never mind the reporting that Como's only vaguely interested; something must be

Manchester United have added Manu Kone to their shortlist as they seek a third midfield signing this summer.
The Roma man is keen to test himself in the Premier League, and the Serie A club are willing to sell for the right price. That figure is understood to be around £50m.
Roma's willingness is rooted in necessity. Despite qualifying for the Champions League, the Italian club need player sales to satisfy UEFA's financial regulations. Kone is viewed internally as their most valuable saleable ******* et.
His profile fits what Michael Carrick needs. The 25-year-old operated as both a defensive midfielder and a box-to-box option across 37 appearances last season, contributing two goals and three ******* ists.
Patrick Vieira has described him as the best midfielder in France. The World Cup has only enhanced his standing.

Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) is one of the undervalued stocks to buy according to the Wall Street. On July 1, Almonty announced the commencement of processing operations at its Sangdong Mine in South Korea, marking the transition from mine development to active, revenue-generating production. During June, the company began feeding its newly commissioned plant with stockpiled ore to produce saleable tungsten concentrate, establishing a critical operational milestone for the facility.
The company entered the production phase with approximately 139,700 tonnes of run-of-mine ore, featuring a blended grade of roughly 0.25% tungsten trioxide. The processing plant is currently utilizing this stockpile to optimize ore blending and ensure consistent feed quality during the initial ramp-up, with management anticipating higher grades as operations progress.

This initial stockpile represents about 2.6 months of production capacity for the plant's first phase, holding an estimated gross in-process value of approximately $68 million at current market prices. By moving into this active phase, Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) solidifies its position as a global producer of tungsten concentrate while leveraging the high-purity potential of the Sangdong deposit.
Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:ALM) is a leading supplier of tungsten to the defense and advanced technology markets. The company has established operations in Portugal and additional projects in Spain and the US.

At the end of the 2023-24 season, Albion had a huge problem.
On the pitch, things had gone well; the Baggies had made the play-offs and only lost to eventual winners, Southampton.
However, off the pitch concerns were mounting for new owners Bilkul.
The club had gone through the campaign with the oldest squad in the Championship (with an average age of nearly 28 years old).
The club knew they had a Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) problem they needed to get out from under, but they also had an ageing squad with very few saleable ******* ets.
