Frank Warren says that Anthony Joshua is yet to sign the contract for an all-British blockbuster fight with Tyson Fury as the wait goes on for an official announcement.
Fury suggested on Tuesday that confirmation of the hotly-anticipated showdown was close, posting a mocked-up image of himself facing off with Joshua above the words "New York City" on Instagram.
The expectation is that the bout will be hosted at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, as is the desire of Turki Alalshikh and Saudi state-owned promotional company Sela, though Joshua's camp prefer Wembley Stadium as the venue, which would allow for the element of a home crowd.
Warren, however, says that location is no longer a factor for Fury who has penned a contract that does not hinge on where the fight takes place, with the Queensberry chief insisting that "The Gypsy King" is now just waiting on Joshua's signature.
"The latest is Joshua's not signed yet," Warren said.

Moses Itauma has a lot of changes to make if he's to become a boxing world champion in the future.
Itauma, 21, had the chance Saturday at London's O2 Arena to become the youngest heavyweight world champion since Mike Tyson. All he had to do was beat veteran contender Filip Hrgovic and claim the vacant IBF heavyweight world ******* le.
Despite winning the first round, knocking Hrgovic down in the second, and dominating many of the subsequent rounds with his dazzling offense and fast hands, Itauma nonetheless showed his inexperience, according to his promoter Frank Warren. He fell in love with his power and abandoned his jab, the Queensberry Promotions founder said.
Itauma (14-1, 12 KOs) ultimately punched himself out and lost in the ninth round, when he could barely stand on his own accord. He threw slower, more sluggish shots, and he was there for the taking. Hrgovic, 34, simply needed only to survive in order to claim the win once it was given to him.
"Moses started the fight really well — controlling the fight with his jab, but it didn't work out for him," Warren, Itauma's longtime promoter, said post-fight.

Just five months after a brutal 11-round heavyweight thriller between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley, the British duo are set to run it back.
Dubois and Wardley will rematch for the WBO heavyweight ***** le on Oct. 17 at the O2 Arena in London, Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions announced Saturday during the Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic broadcast.
Uncrowned has round-by-round coverage of Itauma vs. Hrgovic.
DAZN pay-per-view will stream the show.
Dubois was knocked down in Rounds 1 and 3 by Wardley in their first meeting, but he weathered the storm and dominated down the stretch for a TKO victory in the penultimate frame. The first Dubois vs. Wardley clash is generally considered the frontrunner for 2026's Fight of the Year.

Former lightweight ******* le challenger Raven Chapman suffered a "brain haematoma and cerebral oedema" during a July 24th sparring session, resulting in an emergency surgery and subsequent induced coma.
Per her management, she "has been taken off sedatives" and will be transferred from her current hospital in Denmark to the UK. A GoFundMe has been created to pay for the effort, which includes £20,000 from Queensberry Promotions.
Chapman (10-2, 3 KO) fell to Skye Nicolson in Riyadh on the 2024 Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol show, then came up short in a bid for the British ******* le against Karriss Artingstall a year later. "The Omen," 32, has been boxing professionally since 2021.
Between this and the ongoing struggles of Lee Reeves, who collapsed after a loss to Gary Cully, it's been a profoundly difficult week for UK boxing. Give if you can, keep them in your thoughts if you can't.

With the IBF world light-middleweight ******* le in his possession, Josh Kelly feels "it's a different version of me" since he dethroned Bakhram Murtazaliev as he promised to "put on a show" in his maiden defence against Caoimhin Agyarko on Saturday.
Kelly had to bide his time for his opportunity, but the silky 32-year-old from Sunderland grabbed it with both hands with a majority points decision verdict against the Russian in January, improving to 18 wins with one defeat and one draw.
In some ways, 29-year-old Belfast challenger Agyarko has followed a similar path, enjoying big promotional backing in spells under the Queensberry and Matchroom banners, but was cut adrift by the latter following what was then a career-best win over Troy Williamson in 2023.
Both men will walk to the ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's heavyweight return against Kristian Prenga fully aware of how tough it has been to get to this stage.
Kelly, who had to rebuild from a 2021 defeat by David Avanesyan, has rattled off eight successful wins, culminating in his ******* le victory over Murtazaliev in Newcastle, dropping the champion in the fourth before coming through a late storm and surviving his own 11th-round trip to the canvas.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Premier Boxing Champions officially became part of DAZN's roster of promotional partners on Thursday, and while the Teofimo Lopez-Rolly Romero welterweight ***** le fight will carry the marquee value on August 22, the more consequential story to come out of the press conference at the Avalon in Hollywood may be everything the deal unlocks below it.
DAZN's head of boxing in North America, Britton Hardin, called PBC the last major promoter needed to bring nearly the entire sport under one roof, joining Matchroom, Queensberry, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Boxxer and Salita Promotions. TGB Promotions' Tom Brown noted the platform actually opens July 25 with Errol Spence Jr. facing Tim Tszyu in Australia, with Lopez-Romero following as the first ***** le fight of the new relationship. Both men framed the deal as removing the biggest obstacle boxing has dealt with for years: division. Hardin put it bluntly, saying the goal is to stop keeping fighters siloed on separate networks and start building the matchups fans actually want.

Nobody made that case better than Sebastian Fundora. The WBC super welterweight ***** leholder, whose younger sister Gabriela has fought on DAZN for years, said the partnership finally puts every top name at 154 pounds in one place, including WBA and WBO champion Jaron 'Boots' Ennis, IBF ***** leholder Josh Kelly and Virgil Ortiz Jr. Fundora still has to get through his mandatory defense against Ermal Hadribeaj first, but he made clear where his focus is beyond that fight, naming Ennis as the matchup he wants at the start of 2027. He also weighed in on Ennis' win over Xander Zayas last week, saying he studied the fight closely and noticed a few things in the third round that stood out, adding that the stoppage still gave fans what they wanted.
