Natasha Lyonne was yet another celebrity who took the runway this fashion week, trying her hand at modeling on Vivienne Westwood's spring 2027 show held on Oct. 3 in Paris. Much like Olivia Colman for Miu Miu's spring 2027 show, Lyonne embodied the brand's spirit, clad in the designer's pieces from head to heel. The "Poker Face" star's look, which came straight from the mind of the brand's Creative Director Andreas Kronthaler, featured a glitzy pair of gladiator-style shoes. The silhouette, which brought back the trend of years gone by, was equipped with a panel on the front adorned with floral motifs, pearls and vines, all in gold that, from afar, looked like sequins. The designer footwear was mixed with something akin to a clog, since the platform base was wooden. Each shoe also featured peep toes and wooden heels that jutted towards the soles. The hybrid style seemed to be a centerpiece of the collection, seen on a slew of

Of the innumerable jewels in the royal vault there are only some that remain in popular rotation today, glittering pieces filled with history and meaning that have been re-worn for generations.
These beloved heirlooms offer us a rare insight into the personal styles of their famously private wearers; some are chosen for their timeless designs, others gently adapted over decades to suit the prevailing tastes.
From sparkling tiaras to romantic bracelets, these are the stories behind 11 of the Royal family's favourite pieces.
One of the most recognisable royal jewels, the Lover's Knot tiara, was commissioned by Queen Mary in 1913 from E Wolff & Co, who supplied Garrard. Its design replicates a 19th-century tiara owned by her grandmother, the ******* ss of Cambridge, and inherited by her "beloved Aunt" Augusta, Grand ******* ss of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
The piece is topped with heart-shaped bow motifs and was originally set with 38 pearls (19 dangling, 19 upright). Queen Mary later had the upper pearls removed and replaced with enormous diamonds.

Two princesses are rewriting the rules on what a future queen is supposed to look like — and the story is told entirely with their jewelry boxes. Spain's Princess Leonor and the Netherlands' Princess Amalia are both heirs apparent, both members of the same Gen Z cohort now stepping into royal life, and both destined, eventually, for a crown. But side by side, they could not be telling more different stories with their jewelry.

Diamonds have always carried outsized meaning in royal circles — treasured by some dynasties, quietly set aside by others, but historically the clearest marker of status that Europe's reigning houses had at their disposal.
That symbolism is fracturing along generational lines. As Gen Z heirs move into the spotlight, the old formula of grand dynastic jewels signaling status is splitting in two: one path toward deliberate restraint, the other toward unapologetic opulence.
Leonor has planted her flag firmly in the first camp, favoring costume pieces, pearls and low-key designers over anything resembling a vault heirloom. Amalia has done the opposite, reaching for the Orange-Nassau family's most formidable pieces when the occasion calls for it.

Lili Reinhart has yet again left the internet aflame, posing in a vibrant red Valentino dress featuring a massive back cutout. The "Forbidden Fruits" actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming rom-com, "The Love Hypothesis," starring Tom Bateman. She posed in several different outfits for the portraits accompanying her new feature story with ELLE, alongside Bateman.
Lili Reinhart gave Old Hollywood glam vibes in the fiery red floor-length gown from Valentino. The Cady Couture Long Dress featured long, tailored sleeves and a high draped cowl neck wrapped around her collar. The complete coverage at the front offset the dramatic open-back design. The huge V-shaped cutout at the back plunged all the way down to her waist.
This stark, geometric open back added a sultry element to what appeared to be a simple red dress from the front. Furthermore, the fabric draped down to a floor-sweeping length, gathering at the lower back before falling into a graceful, rounded train that pooled around her feet.
The lower half of Reinhart's look was not visible in the photo, as she looked over her shoulder in the shot that captured her from the side for ELLE.
The "American Sweatshop" actress paired the red dress with Valentino Kabarett Earrings in Metal and Crystals. The oval aluminium jewel design was covered with crystals. In addition, pendant tassels composed of crystals and Swarovski pearls fell downwards from the top of the oval structure. The earrings added just the right amount of sparkle to her look, although her hair partially veiled them.

Nicole Kidman joined Sandra Bullock for the Practical Magic 2 London photocall, held inside the Ballroom at Claridge's this morning.

Wearing her second Chanel look of the press tour, Nicole kept things considerably simpler in this black LBD.
The pearl straps are the defining detail, and one that immediately connects the dress to the house. Pearls have been part of the Chanel vocabulary since Coco Chanel began layering ropes of faux pearls with her clothes in the 1920s, and they remain one of the label's most recognisable signatures. Here, they give an otherwise straightforward black dress its Chanel identity.
And then we come to the shoes. You know Chanel footwear and I don't always see eye to eye, but I have no complaints about these two-tone slingbacks as they give the simple LBD the graphic punch it needed.

Nicole Kidman joined her original co-star Sandra Bullock on the red carpet for the Practical Magic 2 London premiere this evening, reprising her role as Gillian Owens, almost three decades after the pair first played the Owens sisters.

The actress wore a custom Chanel celadon-green bustier dress entirely embroidered with sequins and embellished with a cascade of intertwined chains and pearls.
Considering the film, I was half expecting Nicole to embrace a black, witchy mood for the premiere, so I'm glad she took us somewhere completely different. The celadon green feels fresh and unexpected, while the sequins, pearls and cascading chains still deliver the glamour I wanted from her.

Princess Anne has long been known for her sensible, authentic approach to fashion—and her jewelry and tiaras reflect that same understated sensibility.
From classic pearls and family-gifted tiaras, the Princess Royal has always favored consistency and meaning over headline-making sparkle.
InStyle looks back at 10 of Princess Anne's best jewelry moments through the decades.
From timeless pearls and sculptural brooches to heirloom tiaras, Princess Anne's jewelry collection is one to watch. As royal fans know, the Princess Royal has an undeniably authentic and practical approach to fashion, regularly rewearing decades-old pieces and favoring function over fleeting trends. She's even been known to pair sporty wraparound sunglasses with her otherwise polished royal looks. Case in point: Anne has always marched to the beat of her own drum, and her jewelry collection follows suit.
In fact, you could say Anne paved the way for some of the royal family's now-signature style moves. Long before royal outfit repeating became a headline-making habit, she was pulling beloved pieces from the back of her closet and wearing them all over again. And in 1973, she bucked engagement-ring tradition with a sapphire-and-diamond design from Mark Phillips—years before Princess Diana debuted her iconic sapphire sparkler. Her jewelry box tells a similar story: Anne returns to sentimental gifts and family heirlooms again and again, whether it's a tiara passed down through generations or a pearl choker she's owned for decades.

Queen Mary commissioned the lover's knot in 1913 as a replica of her grandmother Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel's tiara
It was passed down to Queen Elizabeth, later loaned to Princess Diana and is now a favorite of Kate Middleton
The tiara features diamonds, baroque pearls, and designer Garrard's signature Sovereign motif
The royal family has no shortage of dazzling jewels in their collection, including an array of crowns and tiaras worn by Queen Elizabeth.
Among the mix of family jewels is the Lover's Knot Tiara, which was originally commissioned by Queen Mary in the early 1900s as a replica of her grandmother Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel's tiara. The dazzling tiara was designed by luxury jeweler Garrard, the former Crown Jeweller. The headpiece features a combination of diamonds and baroque pearls and invokes the designer's signature Sovereign motif.

Richard Gudenkauf walked his daughter down the aisle in September 1996 with a frown on his face.
The bride, Bernadette, was a vision in her white dress and matching pearls, big doe eyes peering out from behind her veil. Her mother, Laura Gudenkauf, watched her daughter glowing, happy to finally be marrying the man she had met years earlier during a theater production at church.
From the start, Richard had a bad feeling about the groom, David Vander Meer. He wasn't happy about David marrying his daughter, a vibrant young performer, rooted in her faith, engaged in her community.
Bernadette had always been a star in Richard's eyes. But it was at a crowded nightclub one night that he realized just how bright her light could shine. There was a karaoke stage in the corner, where a small audience listened to amateur singers crooning above the din of the larger crowd.
Bernadette got up to perform, and she was only four or five notes in when a hush fell over the entire club. They were captivated.
