ESPN and Words + Pictures announced on Thursday that Saban, a "landmark multi-part ESPN Original docuseries chronicling the life, legacy and extraordinary career of Hall of Fame coach Nick Saban," will premiere on Thursday, October 8, with all six episodes being made available on the ESPN app at launch.
The first episode will debut on ESPN's network on October 8 at 6 p.m. ET, with the remaining five episodes airing throughout October and early November.
Directed by Russell Dinallo and produced by Words + Pictures' Connor Schell, Libby Geist, Aaron Cohen, and Alexa Conway, along with Tom Rinaldi, with Gabe Honig serving as co-executive producer and showrunner, Saban will chronicle Saban's 17-season coaching career as the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, during which he won six National Championships.
Via his own reflections and the insights of those around him, Saban "peels back the curtain on the long, closely guarded world of the legendary coach, featuring hundreds of hours of never-before-seen footage from locker rooms, practice fields and behind-the-scenes moments throughout his tenure at Alabama," while also touching on his coaching stops with LSU, the Miami Dolphins, and Michigan State.
The docuseries will feature interviews with over 70 people throughout Saban's life and career, including Bill Belichick, Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian, Kirby Smart, Tim Tebow, Jalen Hurts, and Tua Tagovailoa, as well as present-day interviews with Saban and his wife, Miss Terry Saban.

His unbeaten 109 against Sussex, his third straight century with the same score, lifted his average to 61.4. Libby now has 2,456 List A runs, including six centuries and 18 fifties, after 56 matches in the format.

The Worcestershire captain played a match-winning knock against Sussex on Friday, August 7, staying unbeaten on 109 off 96 ***** as his team chased down a challenging target of 334. What makes his recent form even more remarkable is that Libby has scored exactly 109 in each of his last three innings in the competition.
His impressive streak started with an unbeaten 109 against Middlesex, helping Worcestershire chase down 294. He followed it up with another 109 against Essex, although his team could not complete the chase after being set a target of 377. Against Sussex, however, Libby once again delivered when his team needed him most.
Sussex posted 333-9 in their 50 overs after several batters made useful contributions. Fynn Hudson-Prentice top-scored with 68 from 35 ***** , while Jack Leaning added a patient 50. Four other Sussex batters also crossed the 30-run mark, while Freddie Price hit an unbeaten 22 off 13 ***** to give the innings a strong finish.

Jul. 10—Noah Gillespie worked five high-traffic, low-impact innings and Boe Miles homered as Libby scored a bounce-back 11-5 win over Sasquatch 17U in Legion baseball action Tuesday. Gillespie worked around five walks and four hits allowed — and a bases-loaded situation in the first inning — while striking out three. He allowed three runs, two earned. But by the time Sasquatch scored in the fifth inning the Loggers led 8-0. That was thanks in part to seven walks issued by four Sasquatch pitchers. Libby made no mistake with a run out which ended Kellaway's innings on 43 and turned the momentum of the T20 Blast game firmly in Worcestershire's favour.
The Rapids went on to secure a 15-run victory at Sophia Gardens.
The result saw Worcestershire leapfrog Glamorgan into third place in the competition's Central and West Group.

It is the first time the survey, carried out by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, has found such a shift away from the dollar.
The findings dovetail with a global debate about the U.S. dollar's role as the primary reserve currency that has been stoked by U.S. policy uncertainty and heightened geopolitical risks.
The London-based thinktank set up in 2010 also found an eagerness among the 90 central banks, public pension funds and sovereign funds surveyed to significantly increase the use of AI from current levels.
