Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler says there is a chance either Georginio Rutter or Jack Hinshelwood could return to the squad for Sunday's clash with Chelsea, although he admitted the latter is less likely to be ready.
Both players have been nursing injuries, but Hurzeler is hopeful Rutter can make the squad.
"With both, we will have to be patient," Hurzeler said. "There might be a chance for one of them to be in the squad [against Chelsea].
"With Gini, I see a higher chance. With Hinshelwood, for the weekend it might be too close, but we will find good solutions."
Hurzeler was also asked about Yankuba Minteh's future amid speculation over a possible move away from the club, with Liverpool keen.

Leeds have confirmed the signing of James Trafford from Manchester City for an undisclosed club record fee, reported to be £40 million ($53.8 million) plus bonuses.
Trafford has agreed a five-year contract, while the deal eclipses the £36 million Leeds paid Hoffenheim for Georginio Rutter in January 2023 and also makes him the world's fourth most expensive goalkeeper.
Kepa Arrizabalaga (Athletic Bilbao to Chelsea for £72 million), Alisson Becker (Roma to Liverpool, £67 million) and Andre Onana (Inter Milan to Manchester United, £47.2 million) are the only keepers to have cost more.
"Leeds United are delighted to confirm the signing of James Trafford," the club said in a statement.
"The 23-year-old England international arrives as our third permanent addition of the summer transfer window, after the acquisitions of Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic, and becomes the most expensive British goalkeeper in history."

Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi has revealed how he convinced Mateus Fernandes and Paul van Hecke to join Spurs this summer. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club signed the Dutchman for £52 million, while the Portuguese midfielder signed for £85m from West Ham.
