Milan have already committed over €100m in funds on the signings of two players at the start of the summer transfer window, but Wednesday’s reports claim that the Rossoneri will not stop there and that they are already plotting their next steps on the market.
According to reports from various outlets on Tuesday, Milan have a full agreement in place to sign centre-back Mario Gila from Lazio in a package worth €30m including bonuses.
This comes after a club-record agreement for Portugal international Goncalo Ramos, who has joined the Rossoneri in a deal believed to be worth over €80m with all bonuses and add-ons included, which has already taken Milan’s summer spending to around €110m.
Ramos’s arrival has already been confirmed and he has put pen to paper on a five-year deal running until the summer of 2031. It is expected that Gila will do the same with wages of around €5m per season.
It is expected that Milan will part company with some of their current first-team stars this window, Rafael Leao among them, but according to Wednesday’s reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Rossoneri are already thinking about potential new attacking midfielders to bring in.
