WhiteWater, along with its joint venture (JV) partners Devon Energy, Diamondback Energy, Western Midstream Partners (WES) and MPLX, has reached a final investment decision (FID) to construct the Solitude Pipeline System in the US.
The pipeline system will feature two 48in natural gas pipelines designed to transport supplies from the Permian Basin to a hub in Katy, Texas, near the Gulf coast.
The project will be managed by the Solitude Pipeline System JV and is supported by long-term transportation agreements with mainly investment-grade shippers.
Commissioning of the Solitude Pipeline System is dependent on receiving customary regulatory and other approvals, with service targeted to commence in the second half of 2029.
The project's initial phase will provide a capacity of approximately 2.25 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) in late 2029, with an additional 2.25bcf/d expected in 2030.

Jessica Fox blinked her eyes and fought back tears not only because she was mere moments from having another gold medal draped around her neck but also because she was mere months removed from being in the hospital.
“Oh!” she said after winning gold earlier this week at the world championships in Oklahoma City. “I didn’t think I’d get emotional.”
That she did was completely understandable.
There is no bigger star than Fox at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships at the McClendon Whitewater Center. In addition to being the first female in the sport to win three Olympic gold medals, the 32-year-old Australian is the only person, male or female, to win six Olympic medals in canoe slalom.

MADISON − Incoming Wisconsin athletic director Shawn Eichorst has gained experience seemingly everywhere since he last worked with the Badgers.
He was in the ACC as Miami's athletic director in 2011-12. He then was back in the Big Ten as Nebraska's AD from 2012-17. After the Huskers fired him, Texas hired him as its deputy AD and chief operating officer, giving him experience in the Big 12 and then the SEC during his eight years there.
Now that the Lone Rock native and UW-Whitewater alum is heading back to his home state, here is what coaches, administrators and others with the Badgers and schools from afar have said about Wisconsin's choice of Eichorst to lead the athletic department:
"Shawn brings the perfect combination of understanding what it means to be successful at Wisconsin while adding experience and wisdom from other top collegiate programs," Gard said in the news release announcing his hiring. "He's extremely bright and a man of great integrity and passion. He'll be able to hit the ground running in Madison and guide us into the future of collegiate athletics."
"He certainly comes in with a lot of experience," Sheffield said in a phone call with the Journal Sentinel. "He's had experience in all four Power Four conferences and knows this state, knows this athletic department, knows this conference. He's coming from a school that has had a lot of overall athletic success, so we're very excited for him to get in here and see what direction he's wanting to take this."

After an extensive search, the Wisconsin Badgers have reportedly found their new Athletic Director. According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Wisconsin is set to hire Texas Longhorns Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer Shawn Eichorst as its next Athletic Director, replacing the departed Chris McIntosh.
Eichorst, a Wisconsin native, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater back in 1990 and then went on to earn his law degree from Marquette in 1995. His administrative career began at Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he was the Athletic Director from 1999-2003.
Following a successful stint there, Eichorst moved on to be the Senior ***** ociate Athletic Director at South Carolina from 2004-06 before moving back home and taking a job with the Wisconsin Badgers. Eichorst was hired to the same role at Wisconsin in 2006 and was promoted to Executive ***** ociate Athletic Director in 2007. Two years later, he earned another promotion with the Badgers front office, being named the Deputy Athletic Director in 2009.
In 2011, he got his first shot as an Athletic Director at a power conference school, being hired for the job by the Miami Hurricanes . However, amid ongoing NCAA investigations, Eichorst quickly left for a better opportunity, as he was hired as the Athletic Director for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2013.
He remained in that role until 2017, when he was fired during the middle of the football season by University Chancellor Ronnie Green. At Nebraska, Eichorst's major move had been to fire head coach Bo Pelini and replace him with Mike Riley, which ultimately led to his demise.
