Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for over 15 years, after tying the knot on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have gone on to welcome three children and build a solid marriage built to last the duration.
Royal biographer Russell Myers said the "secret" to their union boils down to one word: support.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are over 15 years into marriage, and this fall will mark 25 years since their love story began as first-year college students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
There is no exact formula for a thriving relationship, but a royal biographer identified, in his view, the key to the pair's success. "The secret to the Prince and Princess of Wales' marriage is support for one another throughout their roles as working royals and as parents to their three young children," said Russell Myers, who wrote the book William and Catherine: The Monarchy's New Era: The Inside Story, which came out in February.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly strengthened their charitable presence in the US after their Royal Foundation received a major boost from its American arm. Financial records show that the foundation received approximately $11.7 million from the American Friends of the Royal Foundation in 2025, placing its US funding well above the latest reported revenue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's philanthropic organization.
According to RadarOnline, the American Friends of the Royal Foundation operates as a separately controlled organization based in Delaware. The organization supports the foundation's programs and initiatives, particularly projects with an international focus. The US contribution represented about 44% of the Royal Foundation's total reported income of approximately $26.5 million for 2025.
The Royal Foundation serves as the main charitable platform for Prince William and Kate Middleton's major initiatives. Middleton's Centre for Early Childhood continued its work in 2025, including the launch of its Shaping Us Framework, which focuses on the importance of early childhood development. William's Homewards initiative also reached a significant stage. The five-year project aims to demonstrate that homelessness can become "rare, brief and unrepeated" through coordinated efforts in communities across the UK.
The foundation has also supported United for Wildlife, William's initiative tackling the illegal wildlife trade. The charity reported funds stood at approximately $14.3 million at the end of December 2025 after it spent about $22.3 million on charitable activities, according to the figures cited in the reports. The year also included the fifth annual Together at Christmas service at Westminster Abbey, led by Middleton.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle started their own charity after they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and moved to the US. The charity, originally called the Archewell Foundation, became Archewell Philanthropies in 2025. It supports causes such as mental health, online safety, and the impact of artificial intelligence. Archewell Philanthropies reported around $2.6 million in revenue in 2024, down from about $5.7 million the year before.

Mercedes Formula 1 driver George Russell has announced his engagement to his long-term partner Carmen Montero Mundt.
Revealing the news in a sweet social media post, with a simple caption of a ring and a white heart, Russell shared photos from the occasion. Judging from the photos, the Briton popped the question at an intimate, candlelit dinner on a beach.
Russell and Montero Mundt began dating in early 2020 after being introduced by a mutual friend. Since then, Montero Mundt has become a regular presence in the F1 paddock, frequently attending race weekends alongside Russell.
Montero Mundt works in the financial sector and recently unveiled a skincare brand, Barriers. Originally from Spain, she relocated to the United Kingdom at the age of 18 to pursue higher education, earning a degree in business management and finance from the University of Westminster.
Russell has previously credited Montero Mundt with providing him with stability and the ability to disconnect from racing. "Carmen brings me stability when it comes to racing and also a way to disconnect," he told The Times in June 2026, hinting at the engagement.

Prince William reportedly saw red over an early royal request involving Kate Middleton's name. The Prince of Wales was said to be "seething" after the King and Queen allegedly pushed a spelling change. A new report claimed the issue centered on changing Catherine to Katherine. The dispute was small on paper but personal in meaning. It framed William as protecting his wife, her identity, and the Middleton family.
As per a RadarOnline report, the claim came from Christopher Andersen. The royal biographer said Charles and Camilla privately urged a name change. They allegedly wanted "Catherine" changed to "Katherine" with a K.
The reason, according to Andersen, was initials. The core royal group already had Charles, Camilla, and Catherine as C names. The report also noted that Catherine married William in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
Meanwhile, the report said Prince William viewed the request as personal rather than cosmetic. Prince Harry also referenced the moment in "Spare." He wrote that William's "face was blank" when the idea surfaced. A royal source claimed Catherine found the suggestion "incredibly personal."
The insider said her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, chose that spelling at birth. The source added it felt "strange and quite intrusive." Another line claimed William was "seething" over it.

Dockless e-bikes that have been parked dangerously will be seized by a central London council in a further crackdown.
Westminster City Council said it would physically remove Lime, Forest, Voi and Bolt e-bikes that were obstructing the highway, including bikes on dropped kerbs, bus lanes, cycle lanes, doorways or access ramps.
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) said badly parked e-bikes were a serious safety threat to people with sight loss.
Forest, Voi, Bolt and Lime said they supported efforts to tackle poor parking and were working to encourage responsible use of their e-bikes.
The council said that once any bikes had been seized, they would be taken to a storage facility and become available for collection after the company that owned them had paid a fee.

On Thursday, June 25, Iowa State soccer coach Matt Fannon officially finalized the 2026 roster with the addition of three transfer players.
“We are really happy to add the incoming group,” Fannon said in a press release. “They will add depth and quality to our squad and bring excellent competition to improve the team.”
The first addition is Morgan Duke, a redshirt sophomore defender transferring from Nevada. Although she missed the 2025 season due to an injury, she participated in eight matches during her freshman year. Her high school career at West Salem was particularly notable, as she was a three-time First Team All-League selection and scored more than 50 goals.
Joining the goalkeeping unit is Emeline McClenahan, a sophomore from Utah. In her collegiate experience so far, she successfully recorded a shutout and two saves during a match against Westminster. McClenahan was a highly touted recruit out of high school, earning United Soccer Coaches Illinois All-State honors and a ranking as the number two goalkeeper in the Midwest.
The final transfer is Izabella Tejeda, a redshirt freshman midfielder who spent the 2025 season with the Oregon Ducks. Tejeda was a decorated high school player, winning the 2025 Golden Boot Award and being named the PCAL Cypress Division Offensive Player of the Year. Her senior season was highlighted by an impressive scoring average of 1.7 goals per game, and she led her team to the playoffs in four consecutive seasons.
