Lionel Messi's bodyguard just picked up a new trick from ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion Kade Ruotolo, and he wasted no time putting it to good use.
The meeting happened by chance in Los Angeles, California, where a mutual sponsor event put Kade and his twin brother, reigning ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo, in the same room as Yassine Cheuko, the French-Tunisian security professional who rarely leaves the soccer player's side.
Kade was the one on camera, but Tye was right there for the whole thing.
In the clip, the 23-year-old Tenore athlete breaks down a standing Mir Lock for Cheuko, and the video ends with the bodyguard applying the very same hold on him and forcing a tap.
Ultimately, the welterweight submission grappling king and his twin brother walked away with a positive experience.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration is stripping tens of millions of dollars in U.S. military ******* istance from countries in Europe and the Middle East to support conservative-leaning governments in Central and South America.
The State Department on Tuesday notified Congress that it will reprogram $52 million in foreign military financing from Slovakia, North Macedonia, Tunisia and Iraq to Panama, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Colombia, Ecuador and Peru last week and pledged to them additional support as the Trump administration has prioritized the Western Hemisphere in its foreign policy with an emphasis on combating drug trafficking and illegal immigration.
It is just the latest in a series of moves that have reduced either money or troop deployments to Europe in response to President Donald Trump's complaints about NATO allies not spending enough on their defense budgets and other matters. Both North Macedonia and Slovakia are NATO members.
But it also comes as the administration has put particular attention on the Western Hemisphere, aligning deeply with right-wing governments as Trump celebrates a renewal of the 19th century Monroe Doctrine establishing Washington's dominance in the Americas.

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — A boat carrying migrants capsized off the coast of southern Tunisia, killing at least two people and leaving 12 missing, Tunisia's national guard said Saturday. One survivor was rescued.
Guard spokesperson Houssem Eddine Jebabli told state news agency TAP that authorities recovered two bodies and transferred them to a hospital on the nearby island of Djerba. He told national radio Mosaique FM that about 15 people were believed to be aboard the boat when it took off between the cities of Zarzis and Ben Guerdane.
The boat had set off early Thursday, and a commercial ship found the sole survivor Saturday in a life jacket, Mosaique reported, citing testimony from the survivor.
A helicopter and coast guard boats were then dispatched to the area in search of more survivors, according to an ***** ociated Press photojournalist at the scene. The migrants were believed to be headed toward Italy.
Zarzis has long been a departure point for Tunisians and others from around Africa or beyond attempting to cross the Mediterranean toward Europe.

Cologne and Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of Ellyes Skhiri back to his old Bundesliga club, dramatically reviving a return that appeared to have been abandoned only weeks ago. Sport Bild reports the two Bundesliga clubs have settled the terms of a deal for the 31-year-old midfielder. The remaining obstacle is Skhiri's salary demand. Cologne are reportedly prepared to offer the Tunisia international approximately €1.5m per year. Skhiri currently ranks among Frankfurt's higher earners and has yet to accept the proposed terms.
Get German Football News reported in late July that Skhiri had been granted permission to negotiate a departure from Eintracht Frankfurt. The midfielder was omitted from Adi Hütter's training-camp squad after being informed that he no longer featured prominently in the club's plans. A return to Köln initially appeared one of the most logical solutions. That option subsequently seemed dead, however.
GGFN reported during Köln's pursuit of Wolfsburg midfielder Vinicius Souza that Skhiri was no longer considered an option at the RheinEnergieStadion. Köln had elected to explore alternative solutions for René Wagner's midfield instead. That position was reinforced again only recently when GGFN covered Sevilla's emerging interest in Skhiri. At that stage, Köln were understood to have dropped their pursuit entirely.
Skhiri's return would address an obvious need in Köln's midfield, where Tom Krauß, Ísak Jóhannesson and summer signing Paul Okon-Engstler currently represent Wagner's main central options. The veteran already knows the club exceptionally well. Skhiri joined Köln from Montpellier for approximately €6m in 2019 and developed into one of their most important players. He made 133 competitive appearances for the club and contributed to 28 goals before departing for Frankfurt on a free transfer in 2023.
Skhiri has since made 117 appearances for Eintracht, although his role declined last season. The additions of Raphael Onyedika and Noël Aséko have further reduced his prospects under Hütter. Skhiri also enters the final year of his SGE contract. The RheinMainAdler remain eager to cash in on the 86-times-capped international, who still maintains a €5m estimated market value. The two clubs have ironed out the terms of the transfer. Skhiri will still have to lower his salary expectations in order to facilitate the move.

Bubista has resigned from his post as Cape Verde head coach to join Moroccan club RS Berkane.
The 56-year-old guided the island nation to the last 32 of the World Cup last month, where the Blue Sharks were beaten 3-2 by eventual runners-up Argentina after extra time.
Bubista also reached the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with Cape Verde, having taken charge of the side in January 2020.
The Cape Verdian has signed a two-year deal with RS Berkane, who finished second in the Moroccan top flight last season, and replaces Moin Chaabani, who has been appointed as Tunisia's new head coach.
The team from the north-east of the kingdom are not traditionally seen as one of Morocco's big clubs but have enjoyed success in recent years.

Eintracht Frankfurt omitted four first-team players from their training camp in Grassau. The club announced that Ellyes Skhiri has been released for transfer talks with another club. Although they didn’t specify the name of the club, the central midfielder has been heavily linked with a return to Köln in recent weeks.
The 31-year-old had a dismal World Cup campaign with Tunisia after getting the captain’s armband ahead of the tournament. Skhiri played four seasons at the heart of Köln's midfield before joining Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent in 2023. His current contract at Frankfurt will also expire at the end of the upcoming season.
Frankfurt also left strikers Michy Batshuayi, Noel Futkeu and Jessic Ngankam from their squad joining pre-season training. Batshuayi has only played 10 games in all competitions during the 2025/26 season. Frankfurt exercised their option to re-sign the 2. Bundesliga top-scorer Futkeu from Greuther Fürth, while the ex-Hertha striker Ngankam spent the second half of last season at Wolfsberger AC in Austria.
Meanwhile, Junior Dina Ebimbe and Niels Nkounkou are part of the team traveling to Bavaria. The former was close to joining Schalke 04, but Adi Hütter is reportedly in favor of keeping him at the club. Nonetheless, the newly-promoted side still fancy their chances of completing the transfer as Frankfurt want him to extend his contract.

Roma are once again considering Crysencio Summerville.
The Dutch winger played a key role in the World Cup for the Netherlands: two goals and two ******* ists in four matches. He was only involved in a goal against Tunisia.
The collapse of negotiations with several English clubs, including Manchester United, for the West Ham left winger has brought the Giallorossi back into the spotlight.
Yesterday, a positive meeting took place between Italian intermediaries and Roma management, where the club's interest was reaffirmed.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, Roma has set its terms: a sustainable contract, no more than €40 million, and a salary of €4-€4.5 million per season. There's competition, so great caution is needed.

When four-time World Cup winners Italy failed to qualify for the 2026 tournament, then head coach Gennaro Gattuso lamented that Africa had so many places at the global showcase.
"Africa deserves fewer World Cup slots," he said, referring to the number of automatic qualifying places allocated to that continent rising from five to nine in an expanded 48-nation event.
It became 10 when the Democratic Republic of Congo won an inter-continental play-off and returned to the World Cup after 52 years.
Was Gattuso, a midfielder in the Italian 2006 World Cup-winning team, correct? Was Africa over represented in the United States, Canada and Mexico?
Apart from a disastrous showing by Tunisia, who axed coach Sabri Lamouchi after their first group game and lost all three matches, African flag-bearers proved competitive, justifying their presence.

The World Cup creates far more losers than winners. One team will bask in triumph. A few others will have outperformed modest expectations. But most will consider their tournament a failure.
This time around, the pain of an early World Cup exit has hit the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, and Brazil. Before them, Uruguay, South Korea, and Tunisia all had ambitions beyond the group stage.
The mood around a team can change violently. Darko Jekuac, a professor of sport psychology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, told Front Office Sports that wins in Germany's first two matches generated a surge of optimism in the country that subsided into dismay and anger after the team's penalty shoot-out loss to Paraguay. "It was really surprising how fast the emotions and sentiment of the supporters changed," he said.
Angry fans want there to be a consequence for failure. The most common tactic is to fire the coach. This approach has remained in vogue in 2026; Germany pushed out Julian Nagelsmann, just as Tunisia ditched Sabri Lamouchi after its opening match. Others opted to resign before they could be pushed, including Uruguay's Marcelo Bielsa, Ronald Koeman of the Netherlands, and Hong Myung-Bo of South Korea.
There is a compelling psychological reason for foisting the blame on the coach. "National ***** ociations come under huge pressure from the public and the media to show that they have understood the seriousness of the failure," explains Jekuac. "As the coach is the most visible person in the system, sacking him becomes the fastest way to demonstrate action and accountability."

Brazil’s World Cup campaign began with a bit of scepticism about how they might perform after a bizarre qualifying campaign and mixed results heading into the tournament. Things like a 3-2 loss to **** an, a 1-1 draw with Tunisia, followed by a defeat to France, meant Brazil came into the tournament with plenty of uncertainty surrounding how they would perform, and the fans were hopeful, although there was far less expectation than in recent years.
Their preparations for the tournament kicked off with a 6-2 victory over Panama, which lifted the mood a bit, but their defensive fragilities were still evident in that match. A 2-1 victory over Egypt followed before they began their World Cup campaign with a game against Morocco, where they drew 1-1. Morocco were probably the better side, and Brazil’s doubts before the tournament appeared to be justified.
Then things began to improve for Brazil as they battered Haiti 3-0 with goals from Matheus Cunha and Vinícius Júnior. A solid defensive display and a ruthless attack gave Brazil hope, especially against Scotland, where they once again weren’t at their brilliant best, but were able to rely on moments of quality to capitalise on mistakes. A brace from Vinícius Júnior and another goal from Cunha saw them enjoy another 3-0 victory and another clean sheet.
However, it wasn’t the most pleasing of performances for Brazil. Despite that, they still produced a very dominant attacking display, registering an xG of 4.34 compared to Scotland’s 1.05. It was the type of performance **** ociated with Carlo Ancelotti, where they could win the game by flicking a switch to turn it on when needed and punish any mistakes made by their opponents, which seemed to be perfect heading into the knockout stages.
There, they first took on **** an, and it looked very nervy for the Brazilians when Kashui Sono opened the scoring. Brazil responded by bombarding Zion Suzuki’s goal, but couldn’t find a way through until the 56th minute. Casemiro levelled things before Gabriel Martinelli scored in stoppage time to give Brazil a place in the quarter-finals.

Former Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has emerged as one of the leading contenders to become the next Netherlands manager following Ronald Koeman’s resignation, with fresh reports suggesting he could face competition from Erik ten Hag for one of the highest profile roles in international football.
Following a difficult end to his time at Liverpool, Slot now finds himself strongly linked with a return to management, this time on the international stage. The vacancy comes after the Netherlands’ disappointing exit from the 2026 World Cup, leaving the Dutch Football **** ociation with a significant decision as preparations begin for the next major tournament.
Ronald Koeman stepped down on July 1, just one day after the Netherlands were eliminated from the 2026 World Cup by Morocco in the Round of 32.
Despite topping Group F with victories over Sweden and Tunisia, alongside a draw against **** an, the Oranje were unable to build on that momentum. A 1-1 draw eventually led to a penalty shootout defeat, with Morocco progressing 3-2 after spot kicks in Monterrey.
The outcome represented a disappointing conclusion to Koeman’s second spell in charge and prompted an immediate resignation. It also marked the first time the Netherlands had failed to reach the last 16 of a World Cup, increasing pressure on the KNVB to appoint the right successor.

Sweden face France at New York-New Jersey Stadium on Tuesday evening in the World Cup last 32, having scraped into the knockouts as third-place qualifiers.
Graham Potter's side advanced from Group F on goal difference after a mixed campaign that included a heavy win over Tunisia and an equally heavy defeat to the Netherlands. Sweden's earliest possible exit at this World Cup would be their first-round elimination in the round of 32 since 1990 — a measure of how far the nation has come since failing to qualify for three of the last four tournaments before this one.
The headline news is unwelcome. Isak Hien has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with a hamstring injury sustained during the goalless draw with ****** an. The Atalanta centre-back was forced off in the 37th minute after overstretching for a ball.
The Swedish national team doctor confirmed afterwards that the injury would keep him out for an extended period. Potter described the news as "very sad" and confirmed Hien will return to his club for rehabilitation.
The knock-on effect reshapes Sweden's entire defensive structure. Victor Lindelof, who started the ****** an match in midfield, drops back into the centre-back role he occupied for much of his club career, partnering Gustaf Lagerbielke and Gabriel Gudmundsson in a back three.

Cape Verde have captured the imagination and secured a World Cup showdown with Lionel Messi's Argentina, but they are just part of a success story for African football as the group stages come to a close.
A record 10 African nations qualified for the expanded 48-team tournament and only Tunisia are headed home before the last 32.
Spain, England, Portugal and Brazil are among the pre-competition favourites that have failed to beat African opposition, with Morocco confidently talking up their chances of becoming the first world champion from the continent.
"That shows the quality of African football," said Algerian star Riyad Mahrez.
"When you see nine out of 10 teams going through for the next round in the biggest tournament, that shows a lot."

The Netherlands' FIFA World Cup match against Tunisia had to be stopped at the beginning of the second half due to an insufficient number of players on the field. Ronald Koeman's team, up 2-0 at halftime, returned to the pitch for the restart, with Tunisia's squad following behind.
However, as the countdown to kickoff began, it became apparent that Herve Renard's team had only 10 players on the field. Tunisia's players quickly alerted referee Katia Garcia, who was preparing to blow her whistle, that they were still awaiting Ellyes Skhiri's arrival.
Skhiri finally entered the field, but by that point, the countdown had already finished, and play had to be suspended once the referee recognized the situation. Dutch head coach Koeman was livid about the holdup on the touchline and expressed his frustration to fourth official Juan Gabriel Benítez and the Tunisia bench, as per The Mirror.

Good morning, TSF! I have a confession: the concurrent kickoffs overwhelmed me a bit. I tried to dual-screen it on monitors two and three and it was too much alongside my normal workday stuff on the main monitor. That’s saying something, too — the way my brain is wired can usually handle that much input. Did anybody manage the multi-screen setup yesterday?

Tunisia face the Netherlands at Kansas City Stadium tonight, eliminated from the 2026 World Cup and playing their final group match for nothing beyond pride.
