Zilla Fatu officially signed with WWE NXT on August 19, 2026.
AEW Dynamite has a Zilla Fatu problem.
For the uninitiated, Zilla Fatu is the son of the legendary Umaga. Descendent of the Anoa'i Dynasty. Future NXT champion and possible Bloodline member.
And now, an AEW Dynamite Killer?
Zilla Fatu's first advertised appearance on WWE NXT happened this week amid false claims of Bloodline Fatigue, and the result was one of NXT's best numbers of the year. WWE NXT drew 683,000 viewers with 0.14 in the 18-49 demographic. This is a surge of 16% and a whopping 56%, respectively, and NXT's best number since NXT Homecoming last September.

Didn't have much to do other than to pick the ball out of the back of the net, wasn't particularly accurate with his long kicking today but typically calm with the short stuff.
Actually had a decent debut, kept Maeda quiet and showed good reading of the game to cut out potential breaks. Got forward constantly too.
An all action defensive display but I don't think he ever looked particularly comfortable, on or off the ball.
Generally played well, breaking the lines with passes and some runs when **** e opened up but, unfortunately, the elephant in the room is that he made two similar errors. Lapses of errors when on the ball that let in Enciso for the opening goal, then did it again in the second half and had to drag his man down.
Had his hands full with Fatuwu, who got the better of him a couple of times. Did well to win the ball high up and then pick out Brobbey though, which should have resulted in a goal.

Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Solo Sikoa fought back against Roman Reigns and his other family members in the Bloodline with help from LA Knight on WWE Raw.
Sikoa was delivered to Reigns on Monday after he lost to his older brother Jey Uso last week on Raw. Sikoa was going to be forced back into the Bloodline, which also includes his older brother Jimmy Uso and cousin Jacob Fatu.
Reigns, the World Heavyweight Champion, berated Sikoa and made fun of his appearance before crushing his sunglasses.
Fatu then ******* aulted Sikoa as Reigns named Jimmy and Jey Uso captains of the Bloodline for delivering Sikoa.
Knight, who had become Sikoa's friend in recent weeks, had seen enough and marched into the ring. Knight fought off The Usos until he came face to face with Reigns.

Josh Hazlewood made a strong return to Test cricket after more than a year, taking six wickets in Australia's first innings against Bangladesh in Darwin. He bowled 28 overs and conceded 89 runs, taking two wickets on Day 2 before claiming four more on Saturday.
The performance took Hazlewood's Test wicket tally to 301, making him only the ninth Australian bowler to reach the 300-wicket mark.
Hazlewood also created history by becoming the first Australian fast bowler to take a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh in international cricket.
Before his 6/89, Ian Harvey held the best figures by an Australian pacer against Bangladesh. Harvey took 4/16 in an ODI at Darwin in 2003. Hazlewood's effort has now moved ahead of that mark.
However, the overall best bowling performance by an Australian against Bangladesh still belongs to spinner Stuart MacGill, who took 8/108 in a Test at Fatullah in 2006. Nathan Lyon has also recorded three five-wicket hauls against Bangladesh, while Shane Warne has two.
Hazlewood's six-wicket haul also places him among the leading fast bowlers to perform against Bangladesh in Tests. New Zealand's Chris Cairns remains at the top with 7/53, while India's Zaheer Khan also took seven wickets in a Test innings against Bangladesh.
For Australia, Mitchell Starc also claimed two wickets in the ongoing Test, taking his career total to 435 Test wickets. He is now the 11th-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
Hazlewood's return has therefore been significant not only for Australia's ongoing Test but also for his place in the country's bowling history.

On Friday, the Detroit Lions tried out a trio of defensive players: defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi, and cornerbacks Ryan Cooper and Anthony Kendall. As of Saturday morning, none of the three have signed with the team, but we'll see if Detroit makes a move during their day off in preparation for Sunday's training camp practice.
Fatukasi is an eight-year veteran with 90 games and 64 starts of experience. Though he lost most of his 2025 season to a shoulder injury, he started a combined 55 games in the previous four seasons. At 6-foot-4, 318 pounds, Fatukasi is a capable nose tackle who, at his peak, posted some of the best PFF run defense grades in football (81.6 in 2019, 80.1 in 2020). However, he has not graded out paritcularly well in that category as of late (61.0 in 2023, 32.4 in 2024).
Detroit could be in the market for a nose tackle type of player, depending on the reason for Aidan Keanaaina's absence during Friday's practice. At this point, it's not entirely clear if he's even dealing with an injury.
Cooper went undrafted in 2024, bounced around a handful of teams over the past two years, and spent last season playing cornerback for the UFL's Birmingham Stallions. There he posted 25 tackles, four pass breakups, and an interception in nine game appearances.
Kendall went undrafted in 2023, and played for two seasons with the Tennessee ******* ans—making all 16 of his NFL game appearances during his rookie season as a core special teamer (323 snaps). He has yet to make the field since, despite stints on the Ravens practice squad and the training camp roster with the Browns in 2025.

Gary Kelly is off to a winning start in the men’s singles. The silver medallist from four years ago dominated the game against Fred Tafatu from Niue Island winning by 2 sets to 0 (13-1, 8-3).
While the 36 year-old from Ballymoney ran away with the first set, the second was nip and tuck before Kelly sealed the win with a full house of four shots in the seventh and final end.
With only the group winner reaching the semi-finals, Kelly’s next game against New Zealander Shannon McIlroy on Friday morning will be crucial.
McIlroy recorded a big win over Tonga’s Liam Hill.

WWE Raw on July 13, 2026, took place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and featured a contract signing with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
With Saturday Night's Main Event and SummerSlam rapidly approaching, there were matches set for both events. There was only one match with stakes on the show: a No. 1 contender match for the men's Intercontinental Championship. IYO SKY picked up a win over Roxanne Perez and a rough-looking Lyra Valkyria now has a match against Bayley at SNME. A six-man tag between The Usos and Jacob Fatu is set for SummerSlam against Royce Keys, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa. There was also a teaser for the return of Big Cass.
Here are the top takeaways from this week's show:
Before we get into the takeaways of what went down in the ring, an observation about this show must be stated.
The commercial breaks are ridiculous. They are poorly timed, and the frequency is too high. Multiple entrances were skimped this week in favor of commercials. For example, a commercial ran right as Je'Von Evans entered the gauntlet match. On the return, he was already hurt, outside of the ring.

WWE seems to have gone back to the safe territory of running the Bloodline storyline for a second time in recent months.
After building up Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns, things have settled into a new normal after Fatu acknowledged Reigns after losing to him at Clash in Italy.
With both Jimmy and Jey Uso onboard with Reigns and Fatu and a developing story with Solo Sikoa and his ‘MFTs’, it’s left WWE with plenty of wiggle room in terms of storytelling.
Indeed, according to reports, WWE are apparently going all in on the Bloodline 2.0 story.
With Roman Reigns clearly THE guy in WWE still, there is little reason to believe that the company will slow down on his and his family’s push anytime soon.

Drew McIntyre is not expected back in WWE anytime soon, and a new Hollywood commitment helps explain why. PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that there is nothing on the table creatively for McIntyre in WWE at this time, and that online reports suggesting he was set for a return heading into SummerSlam were inaccurate. At the same time, Deadline has confirmed that McIntyre has joined the cast of The Last Druid, a historical action drama starring Russell Crowe that is currently filming in Spain.
The two developments together paint a clear picture of where McIntyre's focus is right now. Since returning from filming the Highlander reboot in Scotland, he has been circling several Hollywood projects, and The Last Druid represents the latest concrete result of that activity. His most recent WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match before stepping away from television entirely.
The Last Druid sees Crowe return to the world of ancient warfare, set a quarter century after Gladiator. The story follows a Roman Emperor who discovers a secluded Druid stronghold in the mountains of Caledonia, forcing a peaceful Celtic elder — played by Crowe — to take up arms to protect his family and people from annihilation. McIntyre's specific role has not been announced. The film's cast also includes Stacy Clausen, star of the Sundance breakout Leviticus, Spanish veteran Pablo Derqui, Crowe's son Tennyson Crowe in his second acting role, Rose Leslie, Andreas Pietschmann, and Daniel Zovatto. William Eubank is directing from a script he co-wrote with Phil Gawthorne and Carlyle Eubank.
The project marks McIntyre's second collaboration with Crowe, following their work together on Amazon MGM's Highlander reboot. In that film, directed by Chad Stahelski, McIntyre plays Angus MacLeod, the brother of Henry Cavill's Connor MacLeod. That project also reunited him with his The Killer's Game co-star Dave Bautista. The Last Druid now extends his relationship with Crowe into a second production.
