Long-running rumors surrounding Cara Delevingne, Amber Heard, and Johnny Depp have finally been addressed by one of the people at the center of the speculation. During a candid appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Delevingne confirmed that she and Heard became romantically involved after Heard and Depp separated, saying their relationship began while Heard's highly publicized divorce was unfolding.
The topic surfaced when host Louis Theroux brought up years of reports that Depp had been suspicious of Heard's friendship with Delevingne during the filming of London Fields. Theroux noted that Depp had reportedly been "driven crazy by the idea that Amber might be sleeping with you." Delevingne pushed back on the timing, explaining, "It's because we did a movie together, and it was called London Fields. He was also doing the movie. I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. Cara Delevingne has finally addressed reports that she dated Amber Heard amidst her messy 2016 divorce from Johnny Depp.
At the time, Johnny accused the actress of having an affair with his then-wife, but in a new interview, Cara confirmed that she and Amber did have an "entanglement," but after the pair divorced.
Cara explained that Johnny's belief that she and Amber were having an affair stemmed from them working together on the 2013 movie, London Fields, in which the Pirates of the Caribbean star had a brief cameo.
"It's because we did a movie together, and it was called London Fields. He was also doing the movie," the 33-year-old said on The Louis Theroux Podcast.
