The Pennsylvania Little League champions from West Chester are moving on to Friday's Mid-Atlantic Region Final in Bristol, CT, after Tuesday's 10-0 shutout of Washington D.C.'s Capitol Hill team.
Ryan Donnelly hurled the shutout for East Side of West Chester in a game that was halted after four innings for the 10-run rule.
Capitol Hill meets Delaware (Naamans Little League) in Thursday's elimination bracket with the winner earning a berth in Friday's ****** le tilt vs. Pennsylvania.
The ****** le game can be seen on ESPN with first pitch set for 3 p.m. Friday. The winner Friday advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
International teams have won the majority of the Little League World Series ****** les in recent years, but two Bucks County teams hold the honor of keeping the crown in the United States. The 1955 Morrisville 12 year olds took the ****** le and five years later in 1960, Levittown duplicated the feat.
