Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) miner turned data centre operator Hut 8 (NASDAQ: $HUT) has appointed a new chair to its board of directors.
E. Stanley O'Neal has been named board chair at Hut 8. His appointment is effective immediately, according to the company.
O'Neal has served as an independent director on Hut 8's board since November 2023. As board chair, he succeeds William Tai, who will continue as a board member going forward.
