VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — After finishing last season with a 12-2 record, Woodford County wants to win it all in 2026.
"I don't pull any punches. We've been 13-1, 12-2, in the semifinals, and so we've got to get over the hump and not only get there but win," Head Coach Dennis Johnson said. "That's what a head coach gets paid for, and that's my job. So, I stay up a lot of nights, man, just trying to figure this thing out."

Bianca Censori and Kanye West are still going strong with their marriage, as seen in steamy photo booth pictures posted to Instagram this week.
Censori posted three black-and-white Polaroid-style snapshots to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (August 3) showing her and the 24-time Grammy winner in having a private makeout session. One of the images shows the couple, who married in December 2022, French kissing.

The affectionate post comes on the heels of a high-profile summer abroad for the couple, as West has been on his first tour in a decade. A source told Page Six that West and Censori stopped by Jondal Beach Club and DC10 in Ibiza, with Censori dancing on tables while the Bully rapper filmed her. The Ibiza visit also included a stop at Circoloco nightclub, and the couple had earlier attended a masquerade ball at Versailles on June 28, as reported by TMZ.

As President Donald Trump faces near-record-low approval ratings, a new Washington Post-Ipsos poll, conducted July 8-13, found that Democrats have a slim advantage over Republicans ahead of November's midterm elections.
Still, Democratic supporters are more motivated to vote. The WaPo-Ipsos poll shows Democrats leading Republicans by 3 percentage points, 48% to 45%, two years after Kamala Harris' 2024 loss to Trump.
President Donald Trump receives a tour of Chateau de Versailles from President of France Emmanuel Macron ahead of a dinner on June 17, 2026 in Versailles, France. The dinner followed the conclusion of this week's Group of 7 (G7) summit in Evian, France.
The poll also found that Democrats' edge grows to 8 points among those "absolutely certain to vote" as 53% of highly motivated voters support Democrats while 45% support Republicans. Trump has faced low approval numbers amid issues with the economy and the Iran war.

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi was booed during the World Cup group phase after it was announced he will stand trial in a rape case.
Hours before Morocco’s game against Scotland on 19 June, a French appeals court confirmed that Hakimi will stand trial in a rape case.
The PSG defender, who was part of the French side’s Champions League glory in May, had appealed a February decision by an investigative judge. That ruling followed recommendations from public prosecutors that Hakimi should face trial.
He denies any wrongdoing.
The Versailles appeals court’s decision was released just hours before Morocco beat Scotland 1-0 in their Group C match, after the African side drew 1-1 with Brazil in their opening game.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Achraf Hakimi, who is due to join Morocco's World Cup squad against Scotland later on Friday, said he faced trial on a rape charge and welcomed the opportunity to put across his point of view.
Hakimi, who played for Morocco during their World Cup opener against Brazil on Sunday, had appealed his referral to a criminal court.
French media reported earlier that the Versailles appeals court had rejected the appeal, paving the way for his trial in a criminal court at some point in the future.
"Today, a story that isn't mine is being told at the expense of my family, my life, and above all, the truth. Sometimes I feel like I've become an easy target," Hakimi wrote in a post on social media platform X.
"I've been waiting for this trial since day one. And now I'm looking forward to it. Finally, I'll be able to speak out."
