The annual gala recognizing the leaders, visionaries, and changemakers takes place on Nov. 9 in Los Angeles.
A who's who of Black trailblazers in the fields of business, entertainment, sports, media, music, STEM and community leadership have been named to EBONY's Power 100 list for 2026.
The full list, which was revealed on Monday (Oct. 5), honors the likes of Allen Media Group founder Byron Allen, author and professor Tayari Jones, JAŸ-Z, 50 Cent, Debbie Allen, Gracie's Corner voice actress Graceyn "Gracie" Hollingsworth, Quenlin Blackwell, iShowSpeed, Wisdom Kaye and more.
Since launching in 2012, the EBONY 100 has spotlighted numerous Black men, women, young adults and children who have reset what it means to dream, achieve, aspire and inspire, showcasing that Black genius evolves over generations and constantly endures.
"[The] EBONY Power 100 has always been more than a list; it is a cultural record of the people moving us forward," Eden Bridgeman, EBONY Media's CEO, said in a statement. "As EBONY continues to evolve, this franchise remains one of our most powerful platforms for recognizing the brilliance, leadership and creativity shaping our community and the world."

After finishing a disappointing ninth in the Women's Super League last season, Aston Villa have freshened things up by adding Scandinavian talent to their squad.
Players from Scandinavia are no novelty in the WSL, it is a well-sailed passage across the North Sea for players from the region.
But Villa signing four Scandinavian players this summer - three from Norway and one from Denmark - among eight senior arrivals, having previously had none, is notable.
The total number of senior players from Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark in the WSL is 42 across 14 clubs, and Villa now have the fourth largest contingent behind Tottenham (10), Manchester United (seven) and Liverpool (six).
Manager Natalie Arroyo and the Villa recruitment team have turned to Scandinavia to help plug senior squad gaps left by the departures of Kirsty Hanson to Spurs and Ebony Salmon to West Ham, and the retirement of Lucy Staniforth, among others.

Leeds Rhinos followed Wigan Warriors to landing a first blow in the Super Four stage against York Valkyrie, winning 38-16 at AMT Headingley Stadium.
Four tries from Ruby Enright with one in the first half adding to Evie Cousins' opener and three in the second period ensured the Rhinos were always in a commanding position as the hosts punished sloppy play from Valkyrie.
Two tries from York's Megan Pakulis, the first levelling after Cousins had given Leeds the lead but the second was a consolation with the game firmly in the Rhinos' control.
Emma Kershaw had scored early in the second half to level matters at 10-10 but a stunning 80 metre solo effort from Ebony Stead on 48 minutes put Leeds back in control before Enright's late treble blew York away.
It was a good start to the Super Fours for Lois Forsell's side who followed Wigan in making a winning start after the latter's win over St Helens on Thursday.

LOS ANGELES -- Head coaches need a lot of help. Each head coach has a slew of ****** istants that help them out and for the most part, they don't get a lot of publicity. But make no mistake; ****** istant coaches do a lot of work. And sometimes, it's the first step to them eventually becoming a head coach.
One such individual is Los Angeles Sparks ****** istant coach Zak Buncik. After a stint with the Dallas Wings, the Sparks hired Buncik for an ****** istant coach position before the 2025 season.
So we caught up with Coach Buncik after practice on Thursday and talked basketball, Sparks, coaching, and more basketball!
THE SPORTING TRIBUNE: What is your role on this team as ****** istant coach?
COACH ZAK BUNCIK: This year, it switched over from offense to defense. So me and (assistant coach) Ebony (Hoffman) are doing the defense this year so it's a little bit of an adjustment for me. I was with offense with (Sparks head coach) Lynne (Roberts) last year so that's my biggest role this year. And then, obviously, player development still with the players.
