A royal expert has offered insight into why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children have largely stayed out of view.
According to Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, the Duke's own upbringing is key to understanding his parenting approach. Having spent his entire childhood in front of the cameras, Harry is now hyper-aware of what constant public attention can do.
Speaking on the A Right Royal podcast, Wilkinson explained, "My understanding of this, or up to a certain stage, is that Harry would much rather his children were not seen. He doesn't want them to be tapped."
As reported by the Daily Express, he further noted that Markle brings a different perspective to the decision. Having had a private California upbringing, she likely wouldn't feel the same instinct to keep them out of sight.
