PORT HURON — Week 1 of the 2026 MHSAA football season is complete, but there's still some business to take care of.
That's right, it's time for the latest Times Herald Prep Football Player of the Week poll.
The format is simple: We'll publish a list of the top individual football performances from the past week. From there, it's up to you to determine which athlete is the Player of the Week.
Voting ends at noon on Friday, Sept. 4.
Want to nominate a player for a future poll? Email Times Herald sports reporter Brenden Welper (bwelperusatodayco.com) and let him know who stood out individually. Please submit entries by 10 p.m. on Sunday.
