Mizzou Football will be looking to improve the passing game in a big way this upcoming season. Ole Miss transfer quarterback Austin Simmons will look to lead the way for what is hopefully a new and improved Missouri offense this year under coordinator Chip Lindsey.
Simmons will have plenty of weapons at the wide receiver position to work with as Mizzou brought in some key transfers. That includes his former Rebel teammate Cayden Lee — who is coming off of a productive juni0r season with Ole Miss — contributing for 44 receptions, 635 yards, and three touchdowns. Can Simmons and Lee establish their chemistry this season?
Cincinnati transfer Caleb Goodie is another name to watch — who had 29 receptions, 484 yards, and two touchdowns last season with the Bearcats. Goodie's biggest strength is his speed. Will he be able to use YAC (yards after catch) to his advantage?
Donovan Olugbode headlines Mizzou's returning wide receiver core after a productive freshman campaign — contributing for 30 receptions, 401 yards, and two touchdowns. Is a "Luther Burden type" sophomore season in store for him?
