IndyCar's Scott Dixon drew criticism from NASCAR radio host Danielle Trotta on Sirius XM's On Track for saying NASCAR races are boring ... but social media isn't sure that's what he actually said.
In an interview with Frontstretch.com prior to IndyCar's Music City Grand Prix, Dixon was asked about the length of the race at 300 laps.
"I don't know," Dixon said, though the race was cut back to 225 laps when it was delayed until Monday. "I don't know. I find it really hard to watch Cup races. It allows for a nap. Maybe that's good. I don't know."
Trotta responded: "I can not believe Scott Dixon said that. The irony of an IndyCar racer saying our races are bad? Bro. You want to take a shot at NASCAR. Look at your ratings.
"Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Dixon."
