New York Giants‘ star wide receiver Malik Nabers had a run in with at least seven squad cars in the surrounding area. As a result of a torn ACL and a torn meniscus in his right knee, Nabers’ 2025 season was prematurely ended after only four games. Initially, he underwent surgery to repair the damage, followed by a “cleanup” procedure to remove excessive scar tissue that caused stiffness.
Nabers expects to be 100% healthy this season (even if he misses the start of the year) and wants to contribute in John Harbaugh’s new offense. However, it would seem the young star had an unfortunate run in with law enforcement on Tuesday.
Here are the details.
On Tuesday evening multiple reports started surfacing (including from verified Giants beat writers) that Malik Nabers was stopped by police. Per ESPN/NFL Nation reporter Jordan Raanan:
Malik Nabers was NOT arrested despite being stopped by police on Tuesday. My understanding through sources is that an individual was reported to have brandished a gun in a similar car.
