Jordyn Woods went viral for her lucky orange handbag during the New York Knicks' NBA Finals run, but she doesn't want to take the credit for the team's championship win.
The New York Knicks brought home an NBA championship for the first time in 53 years. Throughout their NBA Finals run against the San Antonio Spurs, Woods, who is engaged to Karl-Anthony Towns, wore her citrus bag that gained notoriety for being the reason behind the Knicks' historic win. In an interview with Bustle, she explained why she continued to keep wearing the bag to the NBA games.
"I started wearing it and became really superstitious during the playoffs," Woods said.
Before games, she would post her GRWM (get ready with me) videos where fans continued to ask, "'Where's the bag? Where's the bag?' So then I felt like a responsibility to everyone to keep bringing the bag."
