The summer is nearly over, and are now looking ahead to the coming sports seasons. The Kentucky volleyball team, for one, is set to kick off later this month, and expectations are high. Eva Hudson is gone to the professional ranks, but Brooklyn DeLeye is back along with Molly Tuozzo and others. They also brought in Morgan Gaerte from Notre Dame, another Player of the Year candidate.
As the matches are set to begin, it's time to look at the players on the roster. Here are the Wildcats who will look to be playing deep into the postseason once again.

The Kentucky volleyball season is set to begin this month, and they will, once again, be one of the favorites to win the SEC and the national championship. Coach Craig Skinner is returning a lot of talent from last year's squad, and added players who can certainly help them win.
As evidence as just how talented they are, the American Volleyball Coaches ******* ociation has released their National Player of the Year watch list, and four Wildcats are on it. That is more than any other school with the closest being Purdue and Nebraska who have three each.
Here's a look at the four Kentucky players on the AVCA watch list.
DeLeye has been a star for multiple seasons, and was the SEC Player of the Year in 2024. She as also been All-SEC three times and was a first-team All-American last year.
Gaerte is a name fans will need to become familiar with. She transferred in from Notre Dame where she was first-team All-ACC last season. She will take over the role formerly occupied by Eva Hudson.
