Napoli are prepared to cash in on Rafa Marín, with two foreign clubs monitoring the Spanish defender as the reigning champions reshape their backline.
According to AreaNapoli, relaying transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, Marín is "edging closer" to an exit, with a pair of overseas sides having already registered their interest.
The willingness to sell is tied directly to Napoli's incoming business: the club have reached a broad agreement with Chelsea to sign Benoît Badiashile on a loan with an option to buy, handing Massimiliano Allegri a centre-back of international pedigree.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Entering the World Cup, you’d have forgiven Curacao if the team was just happy to be here.
You’ve likely heard at least parts of the underdog story. The tiny island nation of fewer than 160,000 people. The smallest nation ever to qualify for the World Cup. One of the lowest ranked teams in the field.
All the signs of a team that potentially would be in awe of the sights and sounds from the world’s biggest stage — which seemed to be validated after a 7-1 blowout loss to Germany in its opening game.
Then came their second match Saturday night against Ecuador.

Eloy Room turned Curacao’s first World Cup point into a goalkeeping record that had stood untouched across nearly six decades of tracked tournament data.
The 37-year-old did not just keep Ecuador out. He dragged Curaçao through wave after wave of pressure and made the draw feel like a victory.
For a nation still new to this stage, it was a survival act with historic weight.
An OptaJoe post confirmed Room made 15 saves against Ecuador, the most on record since 1966 by any goalkeeper in a World Cup match that did not feature extra time.
The match finished Ecuador 0-0 Curacao in Kansas City, giving Curaçao their first-ever World Cup point. Ecuador dominated possession, territory and chances, but Room kept finding a way across his line.

Room, 37, broke the record for the most saves in a 90-minute World Cup match since records began in 1966. Only the USA’s Tim Howard has made more stops in a World Cup game, with 16 in an extra-time defeat to Belgium in 2014.
Curacao is home to just 156,000 people, making them the smallest country to compete at the World Cup, and Room is the latest veteran goalkeeper to make his mark at the tournament following the performance of Cape Verde’s Vozinha in the 0-0 draw against Spain.
“I think I need a statue in Curacao now,” Room said. His Instagram is also set to explode, with the goalkeeper gaining more than 600,000 new followers in the hours after his performance. “For me as a goalkeeper, this is almost a perfect game,” he added.
Born in the Netherlands, near the German border, Room spent the majority of his career in Dutch football. He made his debut for Curacao in 2015, after being convinced to join the team by Patrick Kluivert, the former Netherlands international who was in charge of Curacao at the time. Room was eligible to play for Curacao through his father.

Germany’s come from behind 2-1 win over Ivory Coast in its second FIFA World Cup group stage match was huge. Looking to advance past the group stages of football’s most prestigious tournament for the first time since 2014, a late winner from Deniz Undav saw the Germans celebrate not just an 11th match won in a row, but it also confirmed Germany would finish in at least the top two positions of Group E.
In other words, whether they finished 1st or 2nd, they had already gone one further than in 2018 and 2022 by qualifying for the knockout rounds.
The other two Group E sides, Curaçao and Ecuador, faced each other in a bid to garner their first points of the tournament. In the end, both sides had to settle for just one as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
The stats are eye watering. Via Fotmob, Ecuador generated 3.05 xG through 27 shots, 15 of which on target, 45 touches in the opposition box and 5 big chances. However, Eloy Room stopped every attempt on his goal. With this result, the island nation managed to bag their first ever point at a World Cup in just their second game.
More importantly for those of a German persuasion, however, the 2014 World Cup winners have won the group! Remember, just one match remains for all teams in Group E. As Germany sit at the top of the table with six points, neither Ecuador, nor Curaçao (both on one point) can reach them with just the one match remaining. Only Ivory Coast could, but Germany’s victory over them ensures their head to head tie breaker would still see Germany top the group in such an eventuality.

Stubborn World Cup debutants Curaçao earned a much deserved first point at the tournament in their history while severely denting Ecuador’s hope of reaching the knockouts in an entertaining 0-0 draw in Group E.
Enner Valencia, Gonzalo Plata, Moises Caicedo, and substitute Nelson Angulo all went close as Ecuador had 15 shots on target and 27 in total, only to be denied by a heroic performance from goalkeeper Eloy Room.
Although Ecuador are not mathematically out of the World Cup just yet, they face a Germany side who beat today’s opponents 7-1 and are already through to the round of 32 in their final group match needing an improbable victory.
Prior to this morning’s fixture Ecuador boss Sebastián Beccacece claimed he wanted his side to “defend like ******* nal and attack like Barcelona”, with the South Americans becoming noted for their lack of goalscoring prowess.

Despite being pegged back after Felix Nmecha’s early opener, Julian Nagelsmann’s side quickly regained control and eventually overwhelmed their opponents. Goals from Nico Schlotterbeck, Kai Havertz (2), Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown and Deniz Undav completed a dominant display as Germany flexed their attacking quality.
As expected, Germany started on the front foot, monopolising possession and pinning Curaçao deep inside their own half. Their early pressure paid off after just six minutes when Nmecha exchanged a neat one-two with Florian Wirtz on the edge of the box before curling a superb effort beyond the unsighted Eloy Room to give Die Nationalelf a deserved lead.
After 15 minutes of one-way traffic, however, Curaçao began to grow into the contest. With Germany showing signs of complacency, **** Advocaat’s side started to threaten on the counter-attack and stunned their illustrious opponents with a historic equaliser in the 21st minute.
An attempted through ball was only partially cleared by Schlotterbeck, allowing Jurgen Locadia to keep the move alive before the ball broke kindly for Livano Comenencia. The midfielder unleashed a strike from the edge of the area that took a deflection off Joshua Kimmich and wrong-footed Manuel Neuer on its way into the net, handing Curaçao their first-ever World Cup goal and levelling the scores at 1-1.
The subsequent hydration break arrived at an unfortunate moment for the Blue Wave, disrupting their momentum and allowing Germany to regroup. Nagelsmann’s men soon reasserted their authority and eventually restored their lead in the 38th minute.
