A 26-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts was just what the doctor ordered for the Tennessee ******* ans as coach Robert Saleh got his first win with the franchise. Cam Ward's bright spots were pointed by OC Brian Daboll in the days leading up to the game, leading to a mediocre performance in Week 6.
Ward did enough to help his team secure the W, but he didn't do well on the stat sheet by traditional metrics. The former top overall pick became the fifth QB since 2024 to start and finish a game, attempt 20+ passes, throw for less than 105 yards and still win, according to NFL on FOX.
On the positive side of the equation, the other four guys to join him have all done well thus far, including Bryce Young, Jalen Hurts, Bo Nix and Caleb Williams.
