Three games, three starts – and already a major presence in the side: Neil El Aynaoui has settled in quickly at RB Leipzig.
The 25-year-old has only been at the club since the start of September, but our deadline-day signing has wasted no time establishing himself in the team – and showing just how valuable he can be in central midfield.
After Monday morning's training session, Neil reflected on his first few days in Leipzig.
The joy and relief from the 5-0 win over HSV were still clear to see. "I'm not just really happy with the result, but with the team's performance as well," said the Morocco international.
He was particularly pleased with the way the team responded to the defeat in Como: "It was really important for us to show a response."
