Two members of Calvary Baptist's national championship softball team have made verbal commitments to Division I schools, according to coach Tiffany Wood.
Junior shortstop Baylor Bockhaus says she has committed to Duke, while junior pitcher/designated player Jaycee Sledge will sign with Southern Miss.
Baylor is a two-time Shreveport Times All-City Player of the Year after guiding the Lady Cavaliers to the LHSAA Division III state ****** les in 2025 and 2026. She hit .486 with 21 home runs while posting 69 RBIs and scoring 54 runs while striking out just six times.
