Von Miller found a unique way to get his preferred jersey number with the Dallas Cowboys: He made a teammate a part-owner of his chicken farm.
Miller will wear No. 40 this season after striking a deal with fullback Hunter Luepke, who will switch to No. 30, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Instead of paying Luepke cash, Miller offered him a stake in Greener Pastures Chicken, his Texas-based poultry business.

"You got to give Hunter a great shoutout, man," Miller told reporters Thursday. "He's learned from the best with the negotiators here with the Cowboys."
