Peralta wasn't good in New York.
He carried a 4.99 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 113 2/3 innings before the Mets dealt him to Tampa Bay on August 2 for three prospects – Aidan Smith, Gary Gill Hill and Émilien Pitre. All three ranked among Tampa Bay's Top 30 prospects.
