Fabio Capello gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport in which he discussed Roma, who, after two 4-0 wins against Fiorentina and Lecce, are now bidding to challenge Inter for the Scudetto.
The former Giallorossi coach was eloquent: "I would be very wary of Roma as Inter's main rival for the Scudetto. What I saw yesterday in Lecce is nothing more than confirmation of what I had highlighted."
"Roma have essentially returned to playing as they finished last season: they have shown they have no integration issues, they don't need to do anything different."
"Gasperini knows his players perfectly, and the players know the coach perfectly: they go onto the pitch and replicate what they did in the final stages of last season, when they came back to qualify for the Champions League."
Fabio Capello spoke about integrating players who arrived during the summer transfer window: "When you see everyone in a team running and fighting, those who join integrate quickly. It's not a team that needs to do something different or new, so that's the job. The others are already doing it well, so there's nothing extra."
