The foundation shared a post on its official Instagram account on Monday about the latest effort.
The caption read, "Today BeyGOOD Foundation, founded by Beyoncé, is announcing a donation of $200,000 to help with relief efforts in Indiana. The funds will go to City Life Center and Angel by Nature that's on the ground aiding communities most affected following the record flooding caused by a derecho storm that destroyed infrastructure, leaving more than 1000 people unhoused. The fund will immediately support critical relief and recovery efforts in the neediest areas, including the city of Gary, providing food, household supplies, and other essential resources to individuals and families impacted by the flooding."
The post ended with a call to action, telling its followers "If you'd like to help those impacted by the disaster in Indiana, please consider making a donation at beygood.org."
