Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider has defended the NFL team's decision to sign Terrion Arnold despite serious felony allegations against the cornerback.
Arnold officially signed with Seattle on August 29 after agreeing to a one-year, minimum-salary contract. The former Detroit Lions first-round pick faces eight felony charges connected to an alleged robbery and kidnapping in Florida.
The NFL placed Arnold on the Commissioner's Exempt List after receiving his contract. He can attend meetings and train at the facility, but cannot practice or play while the legal process continues.

Speaking after the signing, Schneider said Arnold's reputation did not match what Seattle discovered during its evaluation.
