Brewers starter Dustin May left Wednesday night's Brewers-Mets game in New York after just one pitch, as he took a 106-mph liner off his back on a comebacker off the bat of outfielder A.J. Ewing.

Dustin May is coming out of the game after one pitch after he was hit in the back by a line drive at 106 mph. Robert Gasser is coming in from the bullpen.
UPDATE 7:44 p.m.: Official word from the Brewers is that May left the game with a right scapula contusion. X-rays were negative. We'll hear more after the game.
UPDATE 9:51 p.m.: After the game, May sounded relieved that the injury is nothing more than a bruise and said he'll see how he feels tomorrow.
