BELLBROOK — The Bellbrook High School football team has a chip on its shoulder.
A year ago, the Golden Eagles saw their Southwestern Buckeye League championship streak end after five seasons — a loss that fueled them in the offseason.
"It's going to serve this team a lot," said Bellbrook coach Jeff Jenkins. "We got knocked down. We've got to get back up, work harder and hopefully be in the hunt for another championship."
With 20 seniors and a plethora of returning talent, the Golden Eagles are ready to make another run at a SWBL Southwestern ***** le and a Division III regional ***** le. The current senior class were sophomores in 2024 when the program fell to London in the D-III, Region 12 championship game.
"They're very experienced," Jenkins said. "Our schedule is loaded and we're really jelling right now. We're looking to take that next step as a program."
