GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) -- The Green Bay Packers are finding new ways to give back to their loyal community by helping Green Up communities across Brown County through their First Down for Trees program, which is entering its 16th year.
Man arrested after dropping girlfriend with stab wounds at Wisconsin hospital
The team donates trees based on how many first downs they achieved the previous year.
This year, that means nearly 400 trees going to 16 different communities.
The goal of the program is to help reduce air pollution and prevent stormwater runoff.
