Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns have added a wedding ring to a year already filled with major milestones.
The model and designer, 28, and the New York Knicks star, 30, married on Aug. 15 in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California.
White flowers surrounded the couple as they exchanged vows in front of family, friends, Towns' NBA circle and a guest list packed with familiar Hollywood faces.
PEOPLE confirmed that Woods and Towns married at the Malibu ceremony nearly eight months after publicly announcing their engagement. After six years as a couple and an even longer friendship, they left the oceanfront celebration as husband and wife.
Woods walked down the aisle in a custom strapless Danielle Frankel ball gown made from Italian silk wool. The dress featured a draped bodice and full skirt, with hand-cut Chantilly and corded lace appliqués in varying shades of ivory. Page Six described the finished look as Old Hollywood-inspired, highlighting the neck wrap that extended down Woods' back and the lace-trimmed veil that framed the otherwise streamlined silhouette.
